grapplers lack a sense of distance most of the time. you get knocked out by punches you don't see. these mma guys don't see this **** coming.
YOu are an idiot or you are just not serious. There are many reasons guys are coming in and getting caught , there are more power punches in MMA, the gloves are smaller, and there is no standing 8 count which has saved many a boxer.
Glass Jaws Exist In MMA, denier! For further evidence one need not look any farther than Silva/Griffin. The guy got knocked out by a fadeaway jab which is an even more laughable display of punch resistance than when the Glass Jawed Joke in my avatar got put down by a jab because at least Kirkland managed to get up and have the decency to go down for good to a "power" punch shortly afterward.hi:
Its already been proven on SportsScience that boxing gloves generate the same force as 4oz MMA gloves
A lot of bad physics in this thread. Yes, the same force is generally produced. However that's different than the distribution of force across a given area and the resulting effects. Allow me to illustrate it this way. Would you rather a hammer hit a piece of lumber into your chest or a nail at equal force? Science, folks... it's hard.
There's more to a Fragile Glass Jaw than poor defense. All men are not created equal in regards to ability to tolerate cranial abuse and some Chins are more durable than others.atsch
Pretty sure that's not the point of what he was saying. But yes, feel free to blanket everything everyone says.
Most MMA street fighters have terrible boxing skills and cannot generate proper power anyway. So your point is worthless. You have guys who cannot punch properly, yet still gets lots of brutal and embarrasing KOs.:rofl There can only be one reason - fragile Glass Mandibles are epidemic in MMA street fighting.
Point taken. Only boxers can produce "proper power". Oh, and you lost credibility the moment you said, "MMA street fighters". The physics is the physics no matter what style of fighter is doing what. And just for reference, kicks are more powerful than any punch will ever be.
The last time I watched your sport, I was told I was watching the "baddest man on the planet." When I turned it on I was surprised to see it was former WWF wrestler Brock Lesnar. Trying not to judge, I gave it a chance. You know what I got? A 20 stone steroid freak literally turning his back and running away from the other guy. Then the other guy gassed after one round. Yes one round! I was shocked when they said it was for the "UFC World Heavyweight Title". What an embarrassment.
