Floyd....come on now......through is career what hasn't he showed you?

Floyd can fight anyway the fighter choses to fight simple as that.

    In the pocket

    Off the back foot

    Comming forward

toe-to-toe in the middle of the ring(not a slug fest)

    movement

    dirty

pot shots better than anyone right now

    counters better than anyone

combos(not large number combos like Pac though)

    counter out of defensive mode

    bait fighters

    set traps

he also has fought every type of fighter you can think of..he's been the slower man, the smaller man....i mean what hasnt he shown us?

Does not make sense, why fight inside if you are dominating your opponent with the current things you are doing. Why fight inside against bigger guys when you are dominating them with in and out.

Mayweather. The guy is a natural. Pacquiao is a great fighter but he is not on Mayweather's level in terms of versatility.

I remember the Cotto fight when Miguel tried to come inside on Pacquiao, he got put down and was never the same after, basically ran the rest of the fight.

He knew right there that it was impossible to beat Pacquiao, he couldn't get inside and he couldn't outbox him. Same thing with Mosley, once he tasted that power he was on his Huffy.

:patsch:patsch look at the 1st 2 pages. Many of guys gave their opinion. Maybe an opinion isn't even needed since the poll is 80+ percent in favor of one guy

I disagree. Floyd versatility is a known fact, he's shown it in a number of his fights. I do agree on Manny three assets stated above, but against an opponent who's conditioning is as good as his own, with great defense, speed and countering ability. Pac assets might not be enough.

Floyd is bigger than Pacquiao, so he can employe some inside game against his opponents, you cant say the same thing about Pacquiao who is always the smaller guys against his opponent, as I told Pacquiao fighting against in the inside against the bigger guys does not make sense. Look back in Pacquiao earlier fights when he fight same size opponent, at times he fights inside.

Does it make sense if Roy Jones would fight make Tyson in the inside.

Im definitely more of a mayweather fan than pacquiao, but this thread is probably put together to devalue pac. Against current opposition he hasn't needed to show versatility. He always comes away with a dominating win. I still would say that mayweather is much more versatile.

what about at 130? He would rehydrate back to 142. He was a bigger super featherweight than Floyd was
