Even if Floyd fights Pac in 2012, will history forget Floyd's 3 years of duckage?

In 2009, Floyd could've came back against Pacquiao after Pac-Hatton, but chose to make Marquez come up from 135 instead.

In 2010, Floyd could've fought Pacquiao in March but conjured up his PEDs bull**** to hide behind, so Pac fought Clottey.

In 2010, Floyd could've fought Pacquiao after the Mosley fight, but suddenly disappeared into a convenient vacation.

In 2011, Floyd could've fought Pacquiao but chased Ortiz instead.

Now even if they do get it together in 2012 (which I doubt), will history forget Floyd's blatant ducking over the past 3 years?

The belief seems to be gathering momentum that Floyd saw the Oscar, Hatton and Cotto fights in 2008-9, didn't fancy it one bit so came up with his drugs nonsense to fool his fans, and is waiting for Pacquiao to decline before he steps in with him, which many of his fans believe is the case after Pacquiao-Mosley.

We will know for sure that this is the case if Mayweather all of a sudden drops his drug garbage in 2012. :deal

If he fights Pacquiao in 2012 (and he'll win) no one will care about why the fight didn't happen earlier in fact people may talk about how Pacquiao once a brave warrior ducked Mayweather to fight old age pensioners and shot fighters in an effort to avoid a blood test.

the casual fans may forget it but i wont!

i totally agree he has made excuse after excuse to not fight manny just like he ducked margarito and cotto a few tears ago. floyd fights who he chooses, never has he had so much public pressure to fight a real threat like manny so what does he do? make bull**** excuses and demands

If you will look at other forums, the majority of fans including casual and media, think Floyd is a ducker and afraid of Pacquiao, it is only the *****s who choose to be blind.

Yes, unless pac looks totally shot vs marquez than it will be different.

If ends up fighting a Pacquiao that has evidently declined or has lost a fight by then, then no, his insistance on delaying the fight will not be forgotten. He'll be remembered for pouncing on a past-best Pacquiao.

But if Pac remains as he is, the nonsense of the last 3 years will be forgotten probably.

so no one would talk about floyd suddenly demanding a blood test and how floyd went from long vacations and fighting in-house GBP fights?
