    So who started the story and why has billy nelson not said this is not accurate about the Fana fight instead are they using it as a publicity stunt surely not as I believe Ricky Burns is one of the genuine boxer out their and this would damage him as a ticket seller if they sold it as Fana fight and he suddenly he called off and a late replacement stepped in as this has be done that many times now

    The interview with Morrison said VVarren was currently in talks with Fana and he (Morrison) was confident as Fana's people had dropped their price after losing the IBF belt.

    I wasn't trying to say it's set in stone but Morrison seemed to think it was close. I would have typed the full quotes but I was on my phone and couldn't be arsed.

    I take it you mean the Sun or the Record? We'll in that case it must be true :rofl. Unless they have been Hacking franks fone?

    As I said ive heard it all before Regarding Ricky fighting Fana until Frank makes an official announcement of this fight I will not believe its happening. Im sure Ricky will do us all proud whoever he fights next.

    Excuse me my friend im not Rickys promoter,however im quite sure it will be Fana for Ricky next and under no circunstances would FW try to mislead people into thinking its one opponent then pull in someone else that really wouldnt go down well would it?It is very accurate we'd like fana!

    Firstly no trainer in the land would take a bout without knowing all the facts and if there where any talks about the possible fight between Burns v Fana surely FW matchmaker would contact yourself Billy Nelson as his trainer before it was in the papers . now your second point nearly every boxer who has box pro has been built up to box x wise z and at the last moment there was a call off . now my question was who started the story and I actual agree with you about the fact that if Fana is the bout its a good fight for Burns and hopefully it comes off.

    Icey, I think its Scotlands only evening newspaper! It is a good newspaper though, their sport scoops are accurate 9 times out of 10:good
