if guerraro Outclasses maidana.Khan would have to cook up something special

I suspect guerraro is going to go to town on maidana, (Katsidis IMO is better then maidana),after the fight they'll be allot of pressure on khans shoulders, the fans will want khan to prove that hes improved since the maidana fight and the only way of confirming that is by fighting maidanas fellow countryman Matthyse after he retires morales. Allot of ppl have made the argument that matthyse is unbeaten after his closes losses to judah and alexander, the guy has never been down and is a hard hitter which generates more interest.

 

I believe Robert will win this and win with a classy display. The Morales fight some said Maidana wasn't best prepared i just think he found a guy who was willing to take his shots and had the skills to make his limitations pay.

Guerrero may get caught at some point and may have a bad round but he has the experience to get through a tough patch to get back to work and win a wide UD.

Will it knock any shine off Khan's win?. For me i won't ever rate that win that highly he did great and over come some obstacles but i felt before the fight Khan would win at a canter and he was on way till getting caught with a very naive piece of footwork.

I don't rate Marcos that highly and felt for a good year now that Lucas Lucas Matthysse is better of the two Argentine bangers.

Don't believe Khan has to cook anything up special but his next bout i feel he will need to push on from the Judah display. Can't have another McCloskey type fight where he looks ragged.

 

i think people rate the Khan win so highly because of the issues with his chin and surviving the 10th round, which fair enough deserves credit but show Madaina up more than boost khans performance

 

Yep i agree with you. It's one of those things with fans like the one that annoys me where a fighter performs better then expected so people score rounds for him etc.

I'm really dont think Guerreo has any killer instinct I'm not not to sure how much he wants to dig in. Escobado, Casamayor and Katsidis should of all been out of there. Yordan and Katsidis he really didnt like it when the going got tough. I see Guerrero taking the early rounds but at some point Maidana turning the fight on its head

 

If Khan beat Guerrero then people would start talking about him being a career feather/super feather...he's carried no power whatsoever up from 130. If an ancient Cassa can have him on his arse then Maidana certainly can

I actually favour Maidana in this one, I'm unsure of how well Guerrero will deal with his pressure which has been shown to be sloppy vs Corley & Morales but which did get to Khan, Ortiz and Cayo. The latter 3 were considered his main tests but he looked good in periods of them all which leads me to suspect mentally he wasn't right vs Corley and Morales. I, like most others, thought he should blow them out but he looked fatigued from the mid rounds and lent in with his punches which obviously took away a lot of power. What I'm saying is I feel Maidana is jutifiably considered a big puncher when he prepares correctly and has the snap in his punches throughout a fight.

I'd expect Matthysse to come through vs Morales so hopefully him vs Maidana or Khan at the end of the year. Either fight would satisfy me :yep

What evidence os there of this ??? , he certainly had enough pop to keep Katsidis interested and wobbled him twice .

Maidana will be the yard stick , but evidence from the Katsidis fight is that Guerrero's power will be fine up @140
