    I just cant understand how he is made No1. He hasn't fought anyone in the top 5. I guess boxing politics strikes again.

    Bute has crossed that borderline that Floyd Mayweather crossed when he fought Hatton and again when he fought Marquez ...............

    This is beginning to get ****in stupid , how can a guy be ranked #1 in a division when he hasnt fought anybody in arguably the top 6 in the world ???

    He hasnt even fought a true world class MW !!!

    His ability cannot be questioned , but knocking over bums should not get you the accolades Bute is currently receiving , the last and final straw will be the Ward Froch or Hopkins Dawson winner's , if Bute doesnt immediatey fight either of them im switching off to him

    And his fight before that? Supermiddle. And the current weighclass he's listed at? Supermiddle. And the guy he fought at suppermiddle? The same guy Bute fought. And stopped earlier.

    You guys can't be for real.

    I can only assume that you enjoy trolling or that you have some other fighter at SMW who's nuts you ride.

    Either one of those guys is a great fight for Bute. I'd love to see him against a defensive slickster like Pirog or a power puncher like Quillin.

    I've been a critic of Bute but think it'd be harsh to moan about this.

    Who else is there at 168?

    Froch is fighting Ward
    Ward is fighting Froch
    Pavlik has gone into hiding
    Bika - beaten already
    Dirrell - waiting for clearance from Dr Shawhigh
    Kessler - fighting Stieglitz
    Abraham - lost his last three

    etc
