As did Allan Green, supposedly.

All we know for a fact is, Glen is gonna bring the heat, can Bute stay in the kitchen for twelve hard rounds if he has to?

I don't think he's knocking Glen out, and I don't think his stamina is much improved, so basically, this is a sink or swim kind of fight for Bute.

Good fight, I like it. And if Bute wins I'll give him full credit.

 

Nah.. green was forced into fighting him via the tourney. And openly said beforehand Glen used to give him the business in sparring. Bute must see something, but whether that would translate over to an actual fight is another thing entirely.

I doubt Dirrell'S team would accept that fight at this point.

He needs 1 or 2 fights at least to shake the rust off.

A warmup fight, at one of the upcoming showtime cards in order to revive Dirrells public appeal, then put him in there with Bute.

 

Difference is, Froch was hit by an athlete with superior hand speed and explosiveness, and still had his witts about him as he was floored, whereas Bute was knocked damn near unconscious by a neanderthal C-level plodder.

 

Yep, Froch was down with one punch by a 160lbs with 50% ko ratio and Bute was knocked by an accumulation of punch by a bigger guy.

I don't think pro fighters are pussies.
But sometimes their entourage (trainers, promotors, managers) may be.

I would really like that fight to happen.

And if one team would be more incline to do it that would probably be BUte's since they know Dirrell might not be at his best.

 

I would tend to agree with him.

The MW is not that deep right now and is free to take (apart from sexy Sergio).

Quillin has good potential and if he has no problem making weight then he should stay there.
