If floyd beats ortiz in a one sided schooling and pac wins another controversial decision against marquez, does pac keep his p4p number 1 status or does floyd retake it?

    Thoughts.

Floyd will have a tougher time with Ortiz than Manny has with Marquez.

Once Pac becomes the first man to KO Marquez, there will be no argument over this.

Pac ends 2012 as undisputed p4p#1.

You're not good at reading are you?

I said IF floyd beats ortiz in a one sided schooling and pac wins a controversial victory over marquez will pac lose his p4p 1 status.

What is the point of changing the context of the threads opening post?

Floyd isnt even ranked right now due to inactivity.

And beating an handpicked opponent isnt good enough to get him to number one despite his obvious talent.

as marquez is number 4 p4p (last time i looked) and ortiz is pretty far down the list then no i dont think anything will change in this scenario

but pac will devestate marquez imo

If Manny doesn't dominate Marquez and probably KO him, i'll be disapointed. JMM has no business being above 135lbs, he didn't with Floyd and he should'nt be there now.

Yet he is still many people's p4p number 1 or 2 fighter when he does fight.

Handpicked? Didn't they say marquez was handpicked for mayweather? So who is pac fighting now?

So you're saying that because marquez is number 4 and ortiz is pretty far down the line the outcomes changes nothing.

You do realize where marquez was rated when mayweather beat him?

Do you also realize where mosley was rated when mayweather beat him?

For you hes number one regardless of he fights/doesnt fight or if he wins/loses.

    Both are fighting handpicked opponents.

Floyd wont be number one regardless of what happens in those two fights.

    It is what it is.

    Deal with it.

So are you seriously suggesting pac loses or draws with marquez means pac would still keep his p4p number 1 status.

    Have you been drinking?

Well boxing purist suggest marquez gave pac hell and pac can't fight this kind of fighters, where as pac fans suggest pac has improved his whole set of arsenal and will KO and old marquez this time.

The fact is if pac fails in his quest to make this beating lob sided, a lot of questions will be raised as to really how far has he improved.

I mean we are lead to believe that since going up in weight pac has face much tougher challenges and hasn't lost a round in a process, right?

Therefore how does a 135 lbs who is considered inferior opposition to the current crop of pac opponents able to make such a fight competitive.

One way or another a lot of questions will be answered come november.

Because it's not going to happen. You may as well have made a thread about unicorns and leprechauns. I'll stick to reality thanks. Pac brutalizes JMM and ends 2012 as undisputed p4p#1, you'll see :smoke
