Is manny to emotional at this point to beat floyd?

So what exactly is Pac's emotional state right now? You sound (or you hope) he's going crazy enough to lose to Floyd. Do a little reading and see how busy Pac is with his other job as a congressman. Floyd is in his mind, but he is not the highest in the list of Pac's concerns. Floyd's antics don't bother him.

It's the other way around. Floyd is the one who obviously is very emotional about the potential Pac fight. His insecurity reveals itself in EVERY interview he has as he can't stop mentioning Pacquiao. Heck even if the reporters don't ask about Pac, Floyd brings it up and stutters like ****. Floyd is the one with the problem of losing a lawsuit. Floyd's the one not appearing in depositions as he knows he'll look like an idiot before the court and his sham will be exposed. Floyd's the one whining that black america don't give him love the way Filipinos do to Pac. He's the one whining about the media not giving him props the way they do Pac. Floyd's the one who can't believe how good Pac is that he won't just fight him the way he he did his previous 40 opponents.

Come fight night, if there's anyone who'd be emotionally unstable between the two, it would be Floyd.

I think that Floyd has indeed gotten into Pac's head already, but that is just one piece of the puzzle that Floyd will be using to dismantle Pac in the ring. His emotions will betray him, but also, it is his comparative lack of skills and smarts that will ultimately lead to his downfall.

 

Let's talk after the fight is signed and just put your money where your mouth is. I'm betting alot of money on Pac ^_^

 

What proof do you have to indicate floyd is on the decline?

Manny has way more miles on the clock even though he is younger (and not even that much younger)

Back to the thread topic I think floyd is winning the mind games already and this will effect manny if they fight. To be honest I can see pac winning anyway, but I think the mind games will make him have an off night.

That is to be seen, but one thing I could tell you is that the Pacquiao that fought Mosley, is a declining fighter and would get vicious beatdown by the Floyd that showed up to the mosley fight, Manny only has a couple fights left in him.

 

and floyd is counting all those fights left in pacquiao. he knows very well that with pac's style, you can only last for so long, unlike floyd's style which is suited for longevity.

In saying that feel technically floyd mayweather has the edge. i can see through the cherry picker of destiny that is bob arum and trust me they wont let him fight floyd until they have the next manny ready to take over.....Amir

 

I think it actually works in Manny's opponents favor to be "nice". Out of all of PAC's opponents Shane was the nicest and he took the least amount of punishment....He lost a lot of credibility as a fighter and respect to boot but he wasn't detached from his senses.

Unfortunately for JMM and Floyd......Even if they tried to be nice at this point, it's a little late in the game. The emotional level is high and intense on both sides of this coin. PAC is a furious fighter without being emotionally driven....if he's pissed off and looking to prove a point, the man opposite of him has got a major problem.

For JMM and Floyd they will have a PAC that is going full tilt and I'm sure they are well aware of the risks. Otherwise we wouldn't have these fights on the horizon. The opportunity, both for their legacy and financially for Juan and Floyd seem to be too great to pass up.

I don't foresee any upsets in the next two mega fights....there will be no JMM vs Ortiz in 2012... I predict the fight we all have been waiting for is going to take place before the world ends.
