No. Vitali is a hugely overrated, hypocritical, bullying quitter. Lewis is an all-time great and was always a credit to the sport.
Actually yes. Was a big fan of Lennox and become one of Vitali around the Lewis fight. Forget the scorecards and the official outcome, both took something positive away from that fight and both are/were badass HWs, so no reason not to be a fan of both. Just like you don't have to be a fan of both Klitschkos, I don't care too much about the little bro just giving his dues when Jack Asses not.
It's also important to remember when ever there has been adversity (twice in Quitali's career) he got Pizza Faced and the other time he was responsible for one of the ATG quitjobs.
So because he lost to an ATG in Lennox (whilst giving him a very good fight in doing so), that's somehow a bad thing? I'm not excusing his actions against Chris Byrd, but can you explain why losing to Lennox Lewis (the way he did) is somehow a negative against Vitali?
im a massive Klitschko fan.. I am not a Lenox Lewis "fan" but i respect him and i acknowledge his accomplishments
No. Lennox is a disgraceful paper Champion who cherrypicked most fights and gave us several snoozers throughout his boring reign. 2 Unification fights with Holyfield which were pure borefests on ppv. Got Knockout out stiff as a cardboard by mediocre fighters and never held on to his promise for a rematch against Vitali Klitschko, who even his mom was begging for to fight him.
Oh, and I'm a fan of both fighters. I admit I hated Lennox Lewis (I'm a misguided Tua Fan ), but became a big fan once I became more familiar with other fights of his post the Tua fight. Top 5 Heavyweight for me. Vitali I became a fan of after the Lewis fight. I don't try and excuse the defeat to Byrd, but I don't see how people can fail to be impressed with his performance (albeit in defeat) to Lennox.
