Coleman has been on TV a few times. He looked mediocre and got a gift over a shot Mike Arnaoutis, and then looked good in a very flattering style match-up with Patrick Lopez. Paris is more a mystery. He has never fought outside the Midwest circuit, and nobody of note except a shot Augustus (and that was a war).
I agree. Coleman is the truth. Paris isn't dedicated enough but he is talented. Should be a great fight tonight.
i have seen both once and both seemed to be quite solid imo. i think Paris vs Santiago was on Shobox if i remember that correctly. it should be a good fight.. Paris is probably a little better and tougher but he has no stamina so if he doesn´t knock Coleman out in the first rounds i suspect hes going to lose this on points.
Eh, even if Tim wins tonight he isn't "the truth". It's going to take a lot to erase the memory of that performance against Arnaoutis from my mind. That is to say nothing of being outpointed by James De La Rosa (later outpointed by Allen freaking Conyers) and drawing with Martinus Clay. He's a quarter-truth at best, until he proves otherwise...and against someone more proven than Vernon Paris, too.

IB man you know I've been high on Coleman one of my favorite prospects in boxing right now.:good With that said he will have his hands full tonight but I expect him to pull it out. Coleman is very talented despite his KO record he has good power, speed and skills. I feel you about that Arnaoutis fight he looked like **** there but I feel he has turned the corner.
