Man see we keep getting on you because you are talking about something completely different. You're just saying, Manny won his fights more dominatly so he must be versatile.
Well don't say that, explain to me specifically what he did in the fight to be versatile. How come a lot of you Pacquiao fans can never talk boxing and break down fights like this.

Example of versatility: Sugar Ray Leonard came into the fight with Hearns as the pure boxer who stayed on his toes and boxed while Hearns was the puncher. Hearns used his length and jab and started to out box Leonard from the outside. So Leonard goes into stalking mode and starts standing more flat footed and starts pressuring Hearns and eventually knocks him out.
That is versatilty on both of their parts and more so Leonard. :patsch Please give me something like that

:patsch:patsch:patsch no man no. The more versatile man isn't necessarily the better fighter. I think Andre Ward is way more versatile than Pacquiao, but I don't think he's better.
Would you say that Ward can't be more versatile because he hasn't fought as good as opposition? :nut

    That's not always true.

    Against Oscar he told Floyd:

Roger: "Keep tapping him with the jab, down the stretch you gonna get his ass. Don't worry down the stretch, let the ***** get tired a bit. He ain't doing **** anyway, he just walking in.
Keep the jab working, keep the feint working and stay off the rope when you don't have to. Every now then get on it, but don't stay on the ropes for so long :hey"

:happy yay the town idiot showed up.
First off I post in the training section all the time. I have a thread started on the first page right now :nono

Also read all my posts in the thread and the examples I give. Floyd fans and neutral fans have given reasons wy Floyd is more versatile.

Look at the guys who voted Manny and tell me they aren't biased. This forum is Pro Pacquiao, but he's getting killed in this thread. Floyd fans, neutral fans and half of Pacquiao fans think Floyd is more versatile

I've noticed that Floyd does get better advice in his corner whenever he's in fights that he's actually losing rounds. JLC, DLH, Hatton....all saw Floyd's corner show their intelligence.

I agree with what you say and have even posted stats to directly compare the two, all I get in response is how about vitali, jersey shore & andre ward. All stupid examples that are not required when we are comparing 2 fighters who have common opponents , era and weight range.

Yes its hard to believe Pac is more versatile as it goes against the grain. I think people are confusing FMJs Versatility with his technical ability.

People think just because pacs an unorthodox fighter that hes just a fast left hand happy south paw brawler. Not the case at all , if YOU look at the fight I have qouted above
