Paulie is neither slick nor technical. He's just a durable, feather fisted punch bag.

I actually can't think what Paulie does well? As well as arguably deserving to lose the 2nd Ndou fight, he DEFINITELY lost to Ngoudjo fight. Paulie is literally rated for taking beatings against good opposition. Even against mid-level fighters he has looked, to be fair, pretty woeful.

I cannot stress how much I really like Paulie. But his kinda' **** needs to stop.

Someone could win a UD against him by getting inside enough and outworking him. He has very little inside game. That is assuming he can get through the rough patches a good inside fighter will bring to the fight.

Pauli has proven himself at a decent level and considering he has no power, he has had to rely on his 'boxing skills' to get to the level he is at. Plus you can't forget the Kotelnik performance from Khan and his schooling of Judah (who gave a lot off trouble to Matthyse).

Like I said apart from 2 boxers currently, only way Khan loses is by KO, no one will get a UD against him, I just can't see it. Maidana troubled him because of his power!

Maidana with less power and Khan would have won atleast 10 rounds.

If there was 1 inside fighter that would beat him, it would have been Maidana.

 

1) Maidana is not strictly an inside fighter as he is **** there.

2) Maidana is not even the hardest hitter in the division.

3) Maidana is overrated and, as Morales proved, **** at world level.

From what I know - in no order - Lennox Lewis of course - Jimmy Wilde - Joe Calzaghe - Naseem Hamed (although under-acheived considering potential) - Ricky Hatton (i think think vastly under-rated) - Nigel Benn. Would leave out McGuigan personally.
Too early to add Froch and Khan but imagine both will be in there.

 

It' not a case of 'ridiculing it' or not. This is just a bad list that reeks of you having very little historical knowledge. That's fine, but I don't think you can really have a say as to whether you think Ricky Hatton is vastly underrated if you are anywhere of the many quality fighters Hatton has produced.

You are 'considering potential' on Hamed?!? WTF?!? Surely you'd rate the guys that ACTUALLY DID IT. For me, I have Hamed just inside the top ten. But not on 'potential'. Calzaghe is too high as well IMO.

Morales had more than 1 fight since his comeback, the **** are you talking about? He's had several, one which saw him get throughly outboxed for 3 rounds by Willie Limond, and another which saw him nearly lose to Francisco Lorenzo. He's clearly a past it, former super-bantamweight.

I've also seen Maidana not only fail to put away, but badly struggle with a beyond shot DeMarcus Corley. And struggle with a Victor Cayo that Lamont Peterson handled better than him.
