Blame Sky. Shouldn't have ****ed it up with Team Khan. Now you don't get it on Sky. Why are people annoyed? That's a solid PPV Card to me.
You will notice a significant upgrade in picture quality for future Primetime shows and we will have HD next year
Nice one, Venus. Don't listen to half these tits, who are married to Sky. Don't know why people are having a go at Primetime when it's Golden Boy who offered them this (I think).
I'm annoyed because I used to get this kind of card as part of my standard Sky Sports subscription. I don't really care who is to blame for it but I'm not going to welcome a change that costs me more money for the same thing.
Thanks Laz, seems there are some short memories regarding the Sky/GBP situation and also the fact that Sky are pulling back from PPV which will put promoters off dealing with them Also need to remember, we are not going to match Sky straight out the gate but the more high profile events we get them more we can invest and improve....
You and Laz having a Khan cocksucking contest on here...jesus wept :barf At least he's a WUM I suppose. Sky eventually came to the right decision in pulling that event from Box Office, even with a full undercard it didn't warrant PPV. For once they actually made the right decision when it comes to regulating PPV events and it creates a shitstorm. The greed and shortsighted views of a few has led to the fans getting ****ed over here, nothing else. More PPV events is the last thing that boxing needs right now. How can Sky making more events/cards appear on Sky Sports be a bad thing from a boxing fans perspective? If anything what we need is more events being shown on terrestrial television. I also don't see how it will put promoters off from dealing with them, ******'s company and Matchroom both view it as the number one for obvious reasons and the sport will still have a home on Box Office providing it merits that slot, as should have been the case a long time ago.
Maybe because if they want to watch a card that would have been on regular Sky Sports they will now have to fork out £15 on top of their £45 a month subscription:-( PPV just killing boxing:bart
so someone dosent like the service and the qulity you get from PT and there married to sky ,your only backing them cause khan has had his last two fights with them, if he had them with sky you would be slating them aswell now get your mask on ,and get back in your cupboard and wait for amir ...
Well people just have to live with it, and if you want to blame anyone, Blame GBP and Sky. Not good for boxing blah blah blah. This **** is boring. Being on Sky or not won't CHANGE the Sports popularity. Just live with it. While I 100% rather it be Free, what's done is done, and there's no point blaming Primetime. What's so funny? Whilst I agree with your post, apart from the first sentence, I still don't blame Primetime for it. Fair enough. No. If you see some comments, it's like people have something against Primetime. Comments like "I ****ing hate Primetime" Bloody hell, people were annoyed that they were showing Bute's fight for free! No, not happy, I just don't see why Primetime is getting stick for it, Lol. They're just doin' their job.
You'll be paying then? Yes it will. It's the move from terrestrial TV to subscription and PPV which has predominantly contributed to Boxing becoming a fringe sport in the UK.
Laz youre an awful tit sometimes. I dont mind paying to watch boxing, but when I do I expect to get a good picture, quality sound and good commentators/pundits. With primetime Ive never gotten that and Ive bought all the Froch and Khan fights on there as well as BHOP vs Pascal and one WV2 card. Theres always been a problem either with the broadcast or when ordering. Plus theyve got a bunch of spasticated monkeys answering their phones
