It seems surprising that Pac was never involved in a FOTY

    The first Morales fight should've won the '05 FOTY. But unfortunately, it was in the same year as Castillo-Corrales I. Being part of a fight of the year is just one of the few things missing in Pac's already amazing career. If it was up to you, would you have chosen Pac-EM 1 over JLC-DG I?

    Chico v Castillo has to be one of the greatest fight of all times... no way Pac's fight beats it . Doesn't make Pac's fight any less special though

    Nope. JLC vs. DC I is a classic. The right, and ONLY decision was made.

    Yeah if that was an average fight then pac vs morales probably would have won it, it was really a great fight.

    No way. Pac has been in some great fights, but none were really FOTY material.

    His other two great fights (both Marquez fights) also had tough competitions to go up against: Barrera-Morales III and R. Marquez-Vazquez III. It was just unfortunate those fights had to be in the same years as Pac's.

    I thought the Arce-Hussein fight was better than the Main Event. Not that the main event wasn't any good, it was great, but the Arce fight was what boxing is all about!!

    Only one fight a year can get that, sometimes great fights just don't get their due for FOTY because too many great fights happen that year. It's a nice problem to have really

    his first fight with morales and his 2nd fight with marquez are good candidates but unfortunately was up against more deserving fights.

    Pac vs JMM II is a classic unfortunately Marquez-Vazquez III was the same year, and that fight is legendary

    Pac-Marquez 2 was a candidate for FOTY but they lost to vazquez-marquez.
