Joe in a laugher. Way too much speed for Ward.

With an impartial ref and judges, Slappy goes back to England, whines about the lose of his "0" and smokes a rock.

Calzaghe would never lose to a halfcast.

Do you really think that Ward would handle Calzaghe's volume punching that well?
IMO slick defense is not the way to beat Calzaghe..
Calzaghe was not a punching bag either. I could see him hiting ward repetitively on the inside, the first few punches may miss, but he would hit with number 3-5.. Ward would probably adjust and take a step and counter, but i dont see that working in the long run due to Calzaghe's work rate..

    The presentation is all packaged and on the table;

*Calzaghe has depended on the help of refs and judges for the majority of his career. Without their help overlooking illegal punches, calling way early stoppages, his record would be even worst then it is. :yep

The thing is, Calzaghe hits away a lot. Not really outbox his opponents, but outworks them. I think his slapps would slip through Wards defence and pile up points for him. Ward would of course try to fight him on the inside, and I see Calzaghe reply like he always does, slapping away.

Calzaghe beeing a little bit faster with his hands, and beeing able to keep the distance pretty much of the fight with his footwork, would probably win a close UD. I think Ward would tag him pretty much, both with jabs and punches, and I think we would have The Cleaner Work Squad going on a rampage here on ESB afterwards.

Ward would perhaps try to rely on dirty tactics when he feels he is about to lose, but I dont know how much it would benefit him. I did not do Hopkins much good. If the fight took place in Oakland I'd say it is a 60-40 fight in Wards favour, in a neutral venue I'd say the other way around, and in Uk I'd say 70-30 in Calzaghes favour.

:rofl:rofl:rofl You saw the Calzaghe KO clip yourself, or are you blind?
I never recall seeing Ward get that kind of hand holding or any of fighter. You can watch any Calzaghe fight and count at least 30-40 rabbit punches by not one warning from the ref. :yep

4-5 unwarned headbutts against Kessler.. Rabbit punching against Green, excesive holding and hitting in the clinch..
You are the first i have seen saying that hometown officials was helping Zaghe..
While everyone is talking about Ward and his unfair advantages..

Calzaghe. **** ward's jab with the head and clinch style. Wouldn't have
worked with Joe. Too good on the inside, and too good on the out too.
Joe's hands were as fast as wards, but his footwork is better. Don't let
these homeboys on here blind you from seeing that ward isn't all he's
cracked up to be, they think because they're "street" that they know
anything about the sweet science. They don't, and they can't see the
nuances that joe has that ward doesn't. Ward wouldn't be able to outclass or outspeed joe, and he doesn't have the toughness or mental
strength to overpower or outthink him either. In fact, it's the other way
"round. Let ward beat Froch 1st.
Keep one more thing in mind. Kessler hadn't fought a live body in over
2 years when he fought ward in his back yard with a bias referee. Ward
fought a negative unprofessional fight to assure victory. Joe, on the other
hand, beat a PRIME UNDEFEATED kessler in a very entertaining fight where
he took risks. Ward took no risks, and didn't win like his nuthuggers boast
    about.
There's no question if you're a non-biased knowledgeable fan that Joe
beats ward 100 times in a row.
