I wouldn't argue with that amateur record, Khan was an excellent amateur, the fight he put up against Kindelan (the actual Kindelan, not the paid off Kindelan in his last amateur bout) in the Olympic Final shows this off. Very hard to believe that his only two losses was when he came up against Kindelan though, although he did have somewhat of a meteoric rise in the amateurs, and was making noise for years.

That's what I mean. It's so unfair to compare Khan to a guy like that, unless you purposefully want to make him look bad! Which is what Darni is inadvertently doing, unfortunately. He's making Khan and his fans look like plebs.

I am comparing a 24yrs old Floyd to a 24yrs old Khan, Floyd was not a great great fighter at that point, and nor we know if Khan will be great in the future, but the way he is going I would not bet against it.

Most posters are like Sheep on here, they just follow the crowd, Floyd is a great fighter no doubt, but some posters on here think he is unbeatable and I think because of his 0 overrate him, yet not comparing to Khan in real terms he has just started but Floyd has never faced a real elite fighter in his prime.

    Ring Magazine's top p4p list
    1999

    1. Roy Jones Jr.
    2. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    3. Felix Trinidad
    4. Oscar De La Hoya
    5. Shane Mosley
    6. Mark Johnson
    7. Ricardo Lopez
    8. Erik Morales
    9. Bernard Hopkins
    10. Stevie Johnston

Let me know if Khan can do anything to get him ranked this high. He was ranked at the time higher than a prime Tito, Oscar, Shane, Bernard, ect.

And this was before Floyd was 24. This is just to give you a grasp on how good he was. The things he accomplished then got him rated higher than all of those great fighters at the time

But that's thing, though. Floyd was a great fighter. In fact, he was a monster back down at those weights. The maturity, skill level and enthusiasm he showed at that age, was frightening. As a Khan fan, the last thing you would want to do is compare a guy like that to him, let alone try and suggest him [Khan] to be superior - which is what you were trying to do at the beginning before changing your stance.

It's less a matter of being defensive and more of a matter of people just laughing at or criticizing you for being ridiculous and ignorant. You have conveniently ignored other questions or points directed at you because you don't have the knowledge of the oh-so-ancient era of the late 90s/early 00s to answer, so you change the subject. You think a 2009 version of Barrera is a "notable" win but didn't even acknowledge numerous top 10 contenders or future champs that Floyd beat as notable wins. You claim 4 "decent" wins of Khan is better than Floyd's 130 lb. resume although Floyd has more than 4 "decent" wins. You refuse to answer the question of where Khan ranks at 140 all-time, even if you give him a hypothetical win over Bradley (no one does that for Floyd at 130 over Popo) because have no argument and/or you don't know much history of boxing.

Even other Khan fans say you are making them look bad.
