Well I got a give some credit here. Thobela was a LW. At least Bute now goes for MW's.

I think eventually Bute will fight Ward, Froch, Kessler. Should be interesting when those fights eventually happen--hopefully not in Quebec.

Unlike FLovd v Pac--don't think that will ever happen.

Typical Québécois knee-jerk reaction to discredit locals who have success. I bet you buy your maple syrup imported from the USA. :D

You made two posts since I posed the challenge yet you failed to qualify Kessler's first 29 pro fights/first 398 pro weeks resume. Your Thobela comeback was weak and predictable and exposes you further as an obsessive hater.

The truth of the matter is, with the exception of Anthony Mundine, Kessler's resume up to June 8 2005 does not show opponents nearly as notable as Sakio Bika, Librado Andrade and Edison Miranda. Heck, I struggle to find opponents that compare with J-P Mendy, Brian Magee, Jesse Brinkley, Alejandro Berrio, Fulgencio Zuniga and the remains of William Joppy. That's how weak Kessler's resume was.

I shall pose another challenge. Before the Super 6 Tournament, name the opponents that Froch, Ward, Abraham and Dirrell fought that would qualify their resume as better than Bute's. You will have a case with one of the four names I stated. Good luck with the other three.

Good intelligent posts like yours automatically heightens the haters' exposure but truth is they have no shame to look like idiots day in and day out.

Apparently trolling and shilling on the web is a popular hobby nowadays... What mentally sain and balanced individual would enjoy doing so on a regular basis ? I guess asking the question automatically answers the question.....

Ward fights only cab drivers in his home.Hes resume is a joke,a win with some nice headbutts on kessler in his turnament with his referees and his judges and that's about it.Alan Green is a bum and AA is a fake.Ward will soon be exposed and will go back to Oakland to fight some more Henry Buchanans and Jerson Ravelos.Super 6 was a joke without Bute WHO WAS NOT INVITED.

Loneliness, insecurity, whatever name fits the torments they inflict upon themselves (but a inexhaurible source of entertainment for others).

The criticism of Bute expressed obsessively by the usual suspects doesn't hold up unless, of course, one is interested in double standards. Typical of trolls who systematically ignore the hard questions.

Not to disparage Ward (visibly a skilled fighter) but rather to bring attention to the fact that, before the Super 6, neither he nor Froch, Abraham and Dirrell could reasonably lay claim to a better resume than Bute's.

A 12 round UD against Edison Miranda (whom Bute executed in 3 rounds) is Ward's most notable win before the Super 6. Up to the Super 6, Andre Dirrell's resume consisted of no-names (and didn't improve a great deal since) and, frankly, there's nothing to write home about Arthur Abraham's resume before and after the Super 6.

You are also correct to point to the fact that Bute was not invited to the Super 6.

The question isn't hard. It's just plain stupid. I mean what would the answer tell us? What would the same question, if raised about Julio Cesar Chavez, Charles Williams, Roberto Duran etc. tell us?

Kessler turned pro at 18 and was a champion at 25 and steadily increasing his level of opposition. Bute won his share of the title slightly older, but has since stalled. That's the real issue.

    Exactly.

Really pathetic how some bute fans are trying to spin brute's progress.

Kessler had no senior amateur career so his first many fights were learning fights because of this.

Bute was an experienced amateur and ofcourse didn't need the same amount of fights as a teenager turning pro.

Fact is that at comparable ages.. Bute is behind Kessler, ward, froch, dirrell in terms of stepping up to elite opposition.

Bute is 31-32 years old and still hasn't fought anyone. A Johnson fight won't change that. But at least Bute will have to train for Johnson because Glenn is always in shape.
