Chris Arreola will be fighting on September 15.
It will be his 5th fight this year! :happy:bbb

I mean it is just amazing. 5 fights in one year is very rare for a top HW contender.
Which other top contender in other divisions are fighting 5 times i one year.

It looks like the old days where boxers fought every 2-3 month.

    Gotta give credit to Arreola

    For sure! :good

maybe he still have some fat on his body, but god damm it.
His 5th and he still got some time to make it 6!!!

Im sure that he will fight again in December or November again.

Lot like Tyson, in his first year in boxing. A fight every month.

Massive respects to him for staying as active as he is, but the messed up thing is, I just don't really care about him anymore.

I think it's a good strategy. Keep him active, let his confidence build with each win while he improves his conditioning. I expect he'll take a steo up in his next fight, or next year. Manny Steward has hinted he's on the shortlist to face Wlad. Personally I hope Haye returns and fights Arreola in the States. After the slagging Haye gave him I reckon Arreola would be fired up for it.

Could be a fun stay busy fight. Does Tua still bring the power in his hands?

Not too sure he does. I only saw the Barrett fight and according to boxrec he won a UD 10 rounder against a guy with a 15-19 record after that:patsch Maybe would have been a better fight two years ago but lets see what happens next weekend.

I think quicklyl going from one D level opponent to another has its benefits, I guess. This is about six very low level opponents in a row, but, maybe his confidence was damaged so badly that he needs to soundly beat a string of low level fighters in order to believe hin himself, again.

When Arreola fights enough Joey Abell ype opponents, and realizes he has to start working his way back up, maybe then take on someone like Wach or Helenius............... Then we'll know how improved he is, or not.

Chris is the best American HW out there. Big year for him coming up.

If his power has greatly reduced then that fight may be a possibility. Tua got knocked down for the first time in the Monte fight, didn't he? Anyone reckon Arreola would test his chin if they fought? KO'ing even a faded Tua would still be something his promoter could use for hype. (Not saying he would as haven't seen any recent Tua fights.)

Nothing impressive about it at all.

When he steps up from the D level fighters he fights and actually fights a few A and B level guys, while losing more weight I will be impressed.
