Think 4 fights in a year is too much - give the kid a decent break and get him back in February / March

Still, i guess the army of backslappers, leeches and assorted hangers on need paying...

3 fights if he fought in December. Although it'd be 4 in 13 months.

Prescott is the one fight I don't want to see.

    It serves no purpose whatsoever.

Why not have Pacquiao vs Torrecampo on the undercard whilst we're at it.

Bro ....................... seriously WTF are u talking about ?? :huh

Amir Khan hand picked Paul McCloskey to fight to maximise his purse in a low risk high reward fight staged in the UK and a guarantee that it would be a financial hit in a fight he couldnt lose .

Now ....................... if , and its a big if , Morales should scrape by Matthyse and get a W , because lets be real and honest here , if Morales does win the fight it wont be a schooling or a dominant KO , and Khan chooses to fight him , its cherry picking , plain and simple , look at the other options out there and tell me that isnt true :deal

Ok what I meant to say was:

If Morales beats Matthyes and we get Morales vs Khan... Then people see it as cherry picking by Khan.

But if Matthyes beats Morales and we get Matthyse vs Khan... Then people will see it as a worthy fight.

Also Khan vs Mccloskey wasn't cherry picking as it was a 'keep busy' sort of fight for the eventual Bradley vs Khan fight (which obviously didn't happen).

What's wrong with staying active? Who else at his level has 3 fights in 7 months?

So allow it, what's worse Khan vs Mccloskey or Khan not fighting at all.

Khan wants to unify the division, if Morales has a title so be it, Khan wanted to fight Bradley, but Bradley doesn't want any of it.

If morales wins, he's WBC champ and khan wants all titles so no not cherry picking.

If morales loses then Khan fights him ......

if morales beats matthyse fair and square, then i guess know 1 can slate khan for fighting him but i'd rather want to see him fight the winner of guerraro/maidana instead

If Morales ends up holding the WBC title then he's fair game imo.

Sorry dude but I gotta disagree. Mccloskey was the only viable option left, he was undefeated Euro champ, not the best opponent but decent enough. At that time they were having trouble negotitating with everyone they began talks with.

Now from the options left for the next fight -

    Matthysse - Not easy

Morrales - Past his best maybe the easiest fight from the lot however more will unfold after the Mathyysse fight.

Guerrero - Very tricky and talented boxer

Maidana - He sepaks for himself

Khan has also tried getting a fight with Bradley (the asssumed number 1 LWW) and may also fight Peterson who I think will be mandatory for the IBF he actually drew with Ortiz not long ago. Throwing in names like Berto and other names at 147 is pointless as Khan is gonna have one more fight at 140 therefore them names do not support your argument what so ever. To conclude Khan is far from cherry picking considering people doubt his chin and from his last 3 fights he has faced Maidana the biggest puncher in the division and Judah one of the most lethal southpaw punchers in the division. Now you can say what you want about Judah but just look at the expectations people had from him. Its a different story that he couldn't implement the game plan but many people expected him to spark Khan clean.
