    +1

Hamed was able to move on to more important things like getting raped in prison.

This is absolutely the defining esb post of the career of princess nazeem hamed. In this post, here are no less than 7 excuses why he lost to the best fighter he had ever fought. This post sums hamed up in one simple post.Thank you jeromejames for this. And if you believe that the scoring was that close in this fight,God bless you:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I never scored it, the judges did, albiet it did include the point deduction for Barreras foul play. I will attest Hamed lacked technical skills but this loss is over exaggerated since people desperately waited for Hamed to be taught a lesson for his showboating and arrogance.

There are many examples of fights which were farrr more one sided yet the loser is never claimed to have been utterly annihilated or dismantled as people claim for Hamed. Its just that it stung that much more because it was Hamed, his character, persona and what he embodied.

If you believe a prime Hamed lost that night, you are seriously deluded. These are not excuses, but reasons why hamed performed so poorly. Everything at the end of the day, Hamed is responsible for. If he didnt train, set out good management, he has no one to blame but himself. Im just makiing the point that I feel Hamed had what it takes to defeat Barrera. People are brushing him off as a talentless fighter with nothing but showboating. That is far from the truth

You Naz haters are acting like a bunch of monkeys. "Oh he beat him" "Oh he retired him" "oh he hit his head on the ringpost". Anyone who watched Hamed's fights OTHER than the Marco fight could clearly see that was nowhere near 50% of top Hamed. Hamed was too passive and only relying on countering Marco to TKO with one big shot. Look at the documentary leading up to the fight.

You idiots mean to tell me that Hamed was 100% focused and ready for this fight? The Hamed that fought Vasquez would make haggis out of the Marco that fought Morales. That was the worst version of Hamed that night but yet he clearly won atleast 4 rounds against the best ever version of Marco...FACT.

Now imagine how many rounds top Hamed would win.

still not as epic as Clinton Woods getting his ass kicked by Roy Jones Jr. and doing the Ali shuffle....

    that was actually pretty funny.

    Gotta love Woods

If you believe that you are not making excuses for the technically deficient Hamed,YOU'RE the one that's seriously deluded. But that's par for the course for his fans,as is their tradition,as always. Please watch the fight again, because it was a dominating performance by MAB.Sorry james, but there is not one person on this thread,or any other on esb, that claims that Hamed was "a talentless fighter with nothing but showboating."He was a fellow that could punch hard, had great reflexes, was a southpaw, had an unorthodox style, was frequently off balance,BUT HAD A SHITTY BOXING IQ.In other words,he was absolutely ripe for an intelligent boxer-puncher like MAB instead of the just better than average comp that he faced throughout his career.Hamed loved getting his opponents psyched out and drawing them into an unorthodox shootout on which an undisciplined slugger like him thrived. When he finally faced someone that ACTUALLY KNEW HOW TO FIGHT,he got his ****ing ass beat. And btw,Hamed was ALWAYS,ALWAYS a shitty trainer that felt that sparring was far more important than actually doing roadwork. But then again,if you knew anything about Hamed, you would have known that already.

You dont think Hamed was shot? He didnt do his jump over the ropes.

Youve still yet to explain how Arguello could possibly beat Naz.

he must mean Raheem. The one and only slick fighter Morales fought in his entire career. Where the so called ATG warrior was schooled even worse than Hamed, losing every single round.

This fight is a fond memory. I only won forty dollars off of it, but the joy came from watching the bout with a friend that gave me 2:1 odds on the bout. Hamed would have been proud of my ****-talking during that bout, even though it was at his expense.
