what about sergio martinez. He turned pro late and only came in to the spotlight 2 years ago only if he was 5 years younger then maybe he Wouldve had more time to be ATG.

Well let's wait for his career to be done first dude. If you use that criteria there's a whole heap of guys you could talk about and it would almost be inconsequential

Edwin Valero and Finito Lopez. One owned DLH, EM, Antillon, and Santa Cruz in sparring as if they didnt belong in the same ring with him and embarassed a prime Panchito Bojado in the ams but died just as his real career was begining. The other, Lopez, never left the comfort zone of one weight division.

and paul williams.. he had such a long reach only if he had a decent trainer that teached him how to use his reach because everytime I saw him fight he fought in the inside for someone with his reach he shouldve always kept the fight on the outside.

I actually think breaks from sports is a good thing. Helped Jordan, not sure if it helped Ali, Floyd needed a break according to him.

my boxing knowledge is limited to only famous boxers..:!:

that's why I posed the question.

I'll say Golota. He was the biggest disappointment of the last 15 years. Pressure and fame got to him and the injury from the car wreck took away his killer jab. One of the best heavyweight combo punchers of all time.

Scrolling down the names listed here, I can see why none of them is GOAT. Another ''if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle'' type of thread - lol.

Ike Ibeabuchi, David Tua, James Toney, Felix Savon, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe.

Btw i am shocked that nobody mentioned Andrew Golota so far, this guy was the real Ivan Drago in his Prime!

Unfortunately he is mentally ******ed and has a china chin
