Around that figure. Main Event telecast it & take a cut out of subscriptions........50% is rumoured.

 

It was going to cost Fidel and Dwane 60k for the one that was cancled in Albury and MainEvent PPV were going to cover the show, thats why i asked because that price tag didnt sound right from the figures i was told, Soliman and a guy from USA contender were on the poster to fight each other, i think Soliman was going to be the main event, ive still got it sitting around here somewhere.

 

Maybe if it covers costs, it takes a bigger cut out of subscriptions? It ain't a charity...that much I can tell you.

 

my mistake, it wasnt PPV Mainevent it was foxsports. Whats the go in getting it put on for foxsports and not mainevent? I remember fenech used to sell his slots to Hyder at one stage so they must be gettting money from fox for a show or two or atleast able to strike some deal?

alot of people didnt even know about this or what occured behind the scenes, why it was cancled etc. Do you remember this show Anton? it would have been on boxrec until it was cancled.

 

Can't recall why it was cancelled, but then..... I rarely asked any promoter.
I recall BHS giving me 3 or 4 shows to insert in schedule, then requested I ditch them few days later....unsure if that was around that time.

 

Channel 183 (Aurora) does not have the Dib bout or the Katsidis card scheduled for next wkend or the wkends after at this stage.
