Exatcly why this fight will most likely take place at 147. Boxing is a business and Team Khan is learning from Manny and his team and guys like Floyd. Prescott at 147 instead at 140 will be less of a risk and trust me Prescott will agree on anything at this point to get a good payday which he feels he deserves for a long time.

It could happen but from what I've seen of both fighters I would say it's unlikely.

Don't Khan's title mean anything. There is 2 HUGE hurdles to overcome at 147. He's the **** at 140. Why move up at this stage. He's just 23-24. He needs to unify 140, then move up to the 8 figure paydays against Floyd and PAC.

140 is fine. He takes Prescott at ANY wieght IMO, so moving up for that purpose is unreasonable, especially considering he'll be leaving the ducker Bradley to clean up his spoils.

I think Khan is genuinely having trouble making 140 now with his frame. He looked bigger against Judah than almost a year ago against Maidana I think.

As stated before Khan has said he is having trouble making weight at 140. By next year he will move up at 147. I dont think Prescott will get his match this year with Amir. I understand the belt situation but getting a belt these days is very easy.

So who's the easiest at 147 for Khan. Floyd who would take 3 yrs to get a fight with, or Pac who would systematically disassemble the lesser experienced Khan.

    Good post.

How could you NOT want to rematch a guy who kytfo in your own back yard? Khan doesn't need Prescott. Gtfooh with that:lol:

That fight should be personal. Like Tszyu not rematching Phillips, Wlad not rematching Sanders and Khan not rematching Prescott, history will judge them one day. Grudge matches have elevated guys status from good to great to atg to legend.

Khan needs Prescott historically and personally. Pacquiao, Roach, and Khan fans say "no he doesn't"! Laughable:nut

Excuses. No he didn't. Prescott is bigger than Khan regardless. Even now or at 147 Prescott will actually look bigger than Khan.

Khan has the tools to win tbe rematch, but does he have the intestinal fortitude to face a man who assaulted you in half a round and rendered your mind useless for your body. The ref counted to 10, and Khan was still almost out, dazed and wobbly trying to get up. Don't tell me anything about taking punches from Maidana. I'm sick of that bull****.

Someone like IBF belt holder Zaveck, but it seems like Berto will get that belt first. Senchenko also holds a belt and even guys like Rafal and Delvin Rodriguez could make 147 will be good first test for Amir at 147.
