I get the feeling that Hamed went into the Barrera fight thinking that he was going to get some easy money for fighting a bum and that's not what happened.
After that, Hamed just would never have that same confidence.

Edit: Well not that Hamed thought that Barrera was a bum. I think that he was falling for his own hype and that any fighter would look like a bum against him.

Morales was 24 against Espadas and 29 against Raheem. But we cant hold these peformance against him because he was too war torn.

I think MAB may well have juiced up around this time. Maybe if Naz had asked for OSDT everything would have gone to plan.

I haven't mentioned Morales, but Morales did continue to get back in the ring. Did he not?

Ok. Now it makes sense; you missed the fight. Hamed got outboxed.

What the hell with this thread.

Hamed's hype was exposed by Barrera and later bailed out from the sport.

Completely different case as Morales' resume is LIGHT YEARS better than Hamed's.

Wow,Hamed didn't do his jump over the ropes. What is that excuse #8 or 9.I just don't feel like going back and counting how many on this thread, hahaha.Do you honestly believe Hamed would have beaten Arguello? If you do please explain how because you're the one that brought up the subject in the 1st place. The only edge here that Hamed has is quickness because Arguello would have had every other single advantage.Arguello had at least as good as boxing IQ as MAB if not better.Hamed had the boxing brain of a grasshopper.Arguello was poised and was extremely composed.Leading up to such a fight,Hamed would find that he could not get under Alexis' skin as Hamed used to do against far weaker and less intelligent opponents than Alexis.Once the fight would begin,Alexis would take his time figuring out Hamed as he always did.Once he realized how technically inferior and deficient Hamed was,he would begin to pressure Hamed with jabs, overhand right and hooks to the liver as he would utilize his superior height, reach, strength and most importantly, intelligence.Hamed would get hammered trying to dart in and out,to the body,as well as to his empty head while Alexis would time him perfectly. If MAB outboxed Hamed so convincingly, imagine what Alexis would have done to him.Hamed would get frustrated as he would find he couldn't penetrate Arguello's superior length without getting FREQUENTLY pasted while attempting to come in.Not only would Arguello make Hamed look very simple and one-dimentional,he would have been the 1st man to stop him,as Hamed NEVER,EVER beat ANYONE near to the level that Arguello was one.Quite honestly,I have Arguello beating the 3 terrific Mexicans of that era, too. But anyway, saying that Hamed would have done the same to Alexis that he would have done to Hardy is quite insane.Hilarious, but insane nevertheless. You don't realize that you might the the worst poster on esb,do you?I'll be waiting to see your reply on how Hamed would have beaten Alexis Arguello:lol:.Thanks a million for all the wonderful laughs you've given me and many others:lol::lol::good:lol:.

Another shite post.Just because the flamboyant Hamed drew a lot of people to watch him either to get his ass kicked, knock his opponent out or to watch his usual bull**** antics like his over the top ring entrances certainly does not make him a great fighter on Morales' level.I'm astonished that even you would try to write this down on record:lol::lol:.

:lol:You forgot to compare Nelson,Pep,Saddler and Armstrong to Hardy and include them in your group as far as being would-be Hamed 1st round ko victims:lol::lol::lol:.

Morales was scared to death of Hamed. He was offered a carrear high payday to fight Naz but he turned it down. Augie was the only one who came to the table and look what happened to him. Morales has come out and said he wants none of Khan either. Naz was 100x the fighter Khan will ever be.

Arguello was great fighter no doubt. But featherweights with prince Naseem its a whole different story. Did you really say that Naz would get outboxed. I think it would be alot like the Robinson or Bugnu fights where Naz puts on a technical masterclass. But if you take the Naz from the Hardy fight then its clear that Arguello wont make it out the first round.
