Good move. Khan has been riding Pacs coat tail long enough. He should try finding his own opponents to make his name off.

Morales-Maidana 2 seems likely at some point because they are both losing their next fight and this rematch would then be the next best fight for both.

Boxing needs a senior circuit, these old guys insist on fighting on, guys like tapia, hopkins, morales, holyfield etc. With the exception of Hopkins an possibly morales, they're days at elite level are over and are walking future cases of pugilistic dementia. Even though morales is only 33-34 he is a 40 year old fighter physically. Maidana is a big strong light welter but will only be a force if he stays at 140, any further up the weight class than that an he will be exposed for the amatuerish wide winging slugger he is. I like him as a fighter, I really do, exiting, but the top boxers an movers will always beat him. The moral victory for morales was indeed a great one, but he still didnt beat him him on the crads but for my money he just shaded it. I want morales to retire.

Morales is a warrior..he also knows his chances against maidana is bigger than if he fights khan. Khan moves around too much

Defo will happen at some stage, however I've got it the other way. Erk and Marcos for me.

I like that fight better any way. Frankly I wouldn't mind seeing a David Diaz rematch either.

In a p4p sense at the time he most certainly was. Now i'd say he's pretty much a shot fighter.

Maidana, since beating ortiz, has failed to impress. Twice he's been in supposed mismatches against corley and morales and twice he's struggled.

I think matthyse is a better version of maidana. Based on what a one eyed morales did to maidana I think he has a chance against matthyse.

Anyways time will tell and soon enough you'll see I was right. Rg is gonna kick the **** out of maidana.

If Morales vs Maidana happens again? I sure hope this time Maidana gets to wear everlast gloves instead of forcing to wear winning gloves. I'm sorry but i won't give Morales credit if he beats both Lucas and Maidana back2back by forcing 2 punchers to wear winning gloves that isn't a ko punch. Morales clearly is scared to get ko. If anybody don't see that then they are blind as a bat. I know knuckle head luf will respond.

No suprize to see Morales ducking Khan. The last time he fought a good boxer in Raheem he was exposed losing every single round. Especially after his shameful no mas against pacquiao as well. If Morales wants to fight for a world title he should be prepared to fight the best in his division. Lets hope Matthysse knocks this coward out.

Morales isn't really like ducking to fight Khan. He knows he can't force Khan to wear winning gloves since Morales isn't the champ and isn't a draw like Khan is. Morales knows he got the leverage to force fighters like Maidana and Lucas to wear winning gloves so he can fool everyone here like a bunch of knuckle heads to think Morales is back to his old self. I bet these are the same people that thought Oscar will destroyed Pacquiao just like that and look what happen?

Good, Erik has unfinished business with Maidana.

If you really believe this then you are an idiot

The only fight that interests me for Khan at 140 at this stage is the unification fight against Bradley. That being said, Morales' intent to rematch Maidana is excellent news for me. It also shows the kind of character that Morales has in wanting to clear the air as soon as possible after such a close fight with Maidana.
