Morales doesn't want to fight Amir Khan in December!!! Wants Maidana

Its very rare you see a fighter come out of retirement after 2 knockout losses and 2 decision losses and do so well, If Morales can beat Matthysse then Maidana in a rematch then i think its fair to say hes enhancing his legacy more than anything.

 

So you dont want the best to fight the best ?

If you want to fight for a world title you should be prepared to fight the best.

Great decision by Morales. If Khan is shameless enough to take this fight, I'm flag Morales isn't planning to let it happen. Morales vs Maidana II sounds like a good fight, hope Morales doesn't get robbed again.

 

He wants to fight Maidana because he was working that ass with one eye. hes not scared of Khan at all, but I think he'll change his mind once Guerruo gets in Madianas ass in 3 weeks

 

you called morales a coward. this is a man who is 10 years and 20 pounds past his best fighting the two biggest punchers at 140 back to back.

FYI, I had morales beating maidana and matthyse beating both judah and alexander so as far I'm concerned (considering Bradley has gone into hiding) these are the next two best after Khan. This could change when guerrero whups maidana.

but to answer the question I think you're really asking, If morales beats Matthyse for the WBC belt, of course I want him to unify with Khan.

Maidana for me is like a bigger version of kats, so I'd expect him to come out on top in a war, but he'll be fighting a bigger version of RG then kats did, and going off the one sided nature of that fight I think he'll beat maid.

 

You're making it sound like Morales is ducking Khan. Don't draw conclusions just yet. There is a good possibility that Erik especially wants Maidana to avenge his loss, which according to Erik should've been a victory for him. If Morales beats Maidana in rematch, Erik would fight Khan the next day. That's the Erik Morales everyone knows. If he changes his tune, so be it. However Morales has never given anyone a good reason to think he'd duck a tough fight. Therefore he should easily get the benefit of the doubt.
