the WBC wasn't even correct when they stripped bradley. No reason for them to make ****ing people Bradley style the norm, they'll have too many lawsuits from non mexicans.

I openly support Vitaly's commitment for exacting positive long term change in his homeland. After all some things are far more important than sports. With that being said this fight is still a long way from being cancelled. There is simply a great deal of money at stake with implications that stretch beyond Vitaly's personal bank account.

Good luck having a fight in an outdoor soccer stadium in Poland at night any later than September. If this fight does not happen as scheduled , you can forget about it until next spring.

Oh cmon guys. We are all boxing fans but lets be humans first. If friggin Ali did this he'd be looked at as a humanitarian. Klitschko can't go lend a helping hand? The fights still on last time i heard anyways.

WBC allows 12 months between mandatory defenses for HW champs. Solis was his last mandatory. Technically, Vitali does not have to fight until the next year.

hey now. don't be quoting the rules just cuz it's their own by-laws. he's a future champion in recess with that attitude, mister.

Potvetkin will be offered a fight the second he clears medical after his fight with Chagaev.

Helenius will be a future champ, be it by beating an older Vitali or by waiting for one or both to retire. I can't believe he's in any real hurry there since he's but 27 y/o.

Adamek's ranking won't change, and should this fight be postponed/cancelled, Wlad is ready for November and throwing out offers. Trust me here....if Vitali don't fight Adamek next, Wlad WILL.

Good take:good But Vitali needs to make it clear if he will fight on the scheduled date/time, soon, real soon. Like in the next 3-4 days. That still gives Adamek time to find another opponent, and still give us a fight. Ustinov or Pulev are rather active, and would make excellent replacements.

Of course, Wlad would be the best fill in opponent!:deal

It is this sort of behaviour that makes Vitali not just a good champ, but a great one.

Too often boxers make headlines for all the wrong reasons. The wider public think of boxers as animals. I tell people I like boxing and they frown like I have said I like dogfights or something.

Now we have a champion in the marquee division who shows ethical sophistication. And people want to kick him out for that? Idiocy.
