Kessler to Fight Stieglitz in Denmark.

Im not sure that people appreciate that Steiglitz has a fair resume.
Steiglitz has lost some fights but has wins over -
Berrio who became IBF champ
Balzsay who was undefeated WBO SMW champ and getting another title shot
Gutknecht who was undefeated and is now European LHW champ.

That is a better resume than Dirrell or G Johnson at SMW.

I expect Kessler to win, and if Kessler does he has a belt to bargain with against Froch/Ward winner or Bute

 

because it means nothing to beat a top level fighter a 2nd time? at least he has balls to actually fight top guys...

 

What top level guys are you on about?
Unwell double vision suffering Kessler at home was a good win, even though it was dirty illegal fighting at times, but what other top guys?
Green , who couldnt beat a gatekeeper in Miranda and was blasted out by old G Johnson in his next fight.
Bika who hadnt had many rounds in a while and was beaten clearer previously by Bute and Calzaghe
Abraham coming off of 2 clear S6 defeats, yeah thats top atsch

 

because belts means so ****ing much....how much do you value the belt povetkin and chagaev are fighting for? how about brian magees new wba belt? or the belt chavez jr has that hes going to defend against ronald heans?

If you dont know who Berrio or Balzsay are than you make yourself look a douche with your silly sentence. Balzsay has an honest resume better than Dirrells.
Whos average Joe, hes not the one that Ward fights the leftovers of, is he?

 

Belts shouldn't mean much, but then you have both Interbox and Bute fans claim that Bute should get home advantage and 60 -40 if he meets Kessler.... because Bute has a belt...

 

Dont recall any warrior crying, but I think the fact that Kessler had a genuine injury and gave up his belt showed how genuine he seemed, not like Dirrell winning on the floor.

Think the point you are also forgetting when you talk about S6 fighters doing ***** moves is that all of the original S6 fighters fought away at some point except for Ward, who didnt want to test himself in a big SMW title fight away . Even when Ward was just a little further from Joakland he still needed his Californian judge. What a warrior :yep.
Still Ward was probably wise as American SMW who try to compete in big fights in Europe away from America have never been able to compete ie Taylor, Lacy, Dirrell etc. The list goes on as you know

 

It's about as top as Bute's and Kessler's. Bute beat Andrade, Miranda, and Bika. Kessler beat Froch, Andrade, and Beyer. Ward beat Miranda, Kessler, Bika, and Green. (say what you want about Green, he was pretty feared before the tournament) It's at least as good as either of their resumes. Froch arguably has the best resume at 168, but I'll personally reserve the #1 spot for the winner of that fight.

2 time WBA champ Mundine away who became a champ again after losing to Kessler
3 time WBC champ Beyer when champ
Sartison who became WBA regular champ

Thobela former WBC champ
Andrade undefeated who could have been given a KO over Bute
Haussler away who was a European champ
Froch 2 time WBC champ won the title again after losing to Kessler
JC Green, Porras (gatekeepers one a former MW champ)


Frochs resume is better than Wards and Butes but not as good as Kesslers. Remember AA was coming off a clear defeat, Pascal wasnt a great SMW and has lost to an old man (albeit a very good one), Dirrell hasnt done anything as a SMW

 

I dont know if you were talking about me since we had a similar talk. I said he should keep at least half of the 2M$ he brings from Showtime. You said Bute should give all his money to Kessler or Froch without keeping any money because he needs to fight them. I think it is more weird what you said than saying a 60-40 could be fair...

And if you read a lot of post about Kessler/Bute, you probably saw that a lot of people saying Kessler made a good move by trying to grab a belt to be able to ask for more money in future fight. Kessler's fans are saying this, not Bute's fans.

And anyway, I told you that casual fans pays either via ppv or by gates the salary of the fighter. And except some few fighters (Pac, Floyd and the likes) casual needs to see a belt in play to watch the fight. So even if the fight is 50/50 the fighters usually makes more money with a belt.

Abraham looked terrible at Super Middleweight. Kessler has double vision and Green sucks and he couldn't even stop Green, Abraham or Miranda. Bute, Kessler and even froch are better the the feather-fisted cheated Ward.

 

Kessler would beat his ass anywhere, Stieglitz is one of the worst paper champs ever, Andrade owned him. Gonna love watching the brutal KO by Kessler though, dude is always great to watch. Hopefully Kessler will actually man up and fight Bute after he demolishes Stieglitz.
