It's a tremendous left hook punchfest with guys setting up that shot all night long. Razor didn't even know how to throw it but the lead "left hook" he threw was decapitating and Tua had a punch that could destroy mountains. I would say Tua tho.
Tua by KO because he had the better chin of the two. Although by the time he gets knocked out, Ruddock will have stunned the shorter Tua with that hookercut of his several times.
Ruddock decision. Tua would be caught by a lot of huge counters on the way in, & the vicious bombs to the body would really break his will to win, forcing him into a turtle shell. When Tua was rocked against Lewis, he gave-up trying to win. Now notice the light-hitter Byrd visibly hurting Tua twice with body punches. Ruddock would badly hurt Tua to the body, similar to how Lewis hurt Tua to the chin, & thus he would go into tentative turtle survival mode. Oh, & Razor Ruddock's deadly left hookercut SMASH is just as powerful as Tua's lefthook. Importantly, Ruddock has the warrior's heart for a brutal slugfest war as shown by his wars with Tyson, whereas if Tua gets hurt, he goes turtle. Ike didn't hurt Tua, but the power still made him hide away in his turtle shell for quite a while!
Ruddock better handspeed, and as already mentioned, Tua when hurt stops trying anything other than lunging left hooks. Id say that if Tua doesnt have Ruddock gone quickly, Ruddock wins.
the ruddock who showed up in the 2 tyson fights would knock out david tua..........i know tua has a good chin....but that left uppercut as tua is comin in would connect...tua would get stopped......funny thing hbo was trying to make a tua/ruddock fight in 1999...razor ruddock was 35 at the time/ and tua denied ruddock........FACT
i totally agree with u.....fuk david tua struggled with david izon...............razor ruddock hit way harder than david izon.....
