How does that change your perception of a potential Pac fight?

It would make me think that Mayweather would be in trouble against Pacquiao.

If he barely beats Ortiz he would most likely get his ass kicked by Manny.

i think it would make floyd even more reluctant to face pac. i cant think of anything victor does better than pac so it would stand to reason that pac would have a lot more success in everything victor is able to do against mayweather.

I'd think Floyd is slipping and his fight with Pacquiao would be a lot more interesting. I'd likely think the fight is a toss-up in this situation.

That being said: Not going to happen. Floyd is going to work Ortiz.

Depends on how he struggles, if he cant figure out Ortiz's left hands then Floyd would be in trouble..

barely ? Ortiz is b- level bro . Floyd better dominate the fight or he looks bad. And this would be the 3rd or 4th time he's had problems with a southpaw.

I'll tell you what though, it's worse for Pac if he struggles with Marquez. At least with Mayweather, there would be the possiblity that he was rusty. With Pacquiao, if he struggles with Marquez, then he's in for a long night against Mayweather. In the end, I think both guys should either win by stoppage or get a UD where they win at least 8 rounds.

He won damn near every round against Corely, Mitchell, and Judah. So if that's struggling, he's almost guarenteed to struggle in this fight.

You know I was going to same the same thing. Floyd can beat Ortiz by a 9-3/10-2 type decision and still be ok, but I'm expecting Manny to stop Marquez.
