You're overlooking one thing. When Vitali retires it's 'possible' that the belt will already be in Adamek's hands. :D

That's a load of crap. You should be ashamed of yourself.

First of all, IBO does not count as a legit belt, at least not yet.

Second, you forgot the ring magazine belt, which at the moment is quite possibly the most meaningful belt.

Third, the belt that Povetkin's managers are buying in the Chagaev Missmatch has NO MEANING. It was established as means to CHARGE EXTRA FEES from boxers, not as a distinguished achievement. Povetkin hasn't fought anyone with a pulse since his razor close decision win over Chambers, and the ONLY reason Povetkin is top 3 in WBA is because Wlad ROUTINELY KNOCKS OUT ALL OTHER TOP HEAVIES that, UNLIKE POVETKIN, DID NOT DUCK HIM TWICE IN A ROW.

So no, that won't be a real title.

I hope not, Big Vit is my fav heavy of all time and I hope he retires unbeaten, HOWEVER, if anyone is to beat him, It's best to be Adamek. There isn't a more deserving light-heavy gone heavyweight out there that can claim the title.

Unbeaten? Did you forget how the fat Lewis made him look like the Terminator? Or He quit like a b.tch against the bum Chris Byrd

Meaning he leaves while he's ahead, and not on a loss.

And Chis Byrd is not a bum. It takes a complete moron to call him a bum. Vitali did quit, and that's on him, but Chris Byrd is one of the most deserving heavyweights in his prime, a man of courage and dedication, and deserves respect for fighting guys many times his match physically in a fearless manner.

His words were something like "Haye might well retire but come back to fight for a belt Wlad drops", said it no long after the Wlad vs Haye fight.

It takes a complete Klittard to describe Byrd like he was the hottest thing in those days.

He had guts but was one of the worst HW-Champs ever!

Yes he is. If you don't know what you're talking about, it's better to shut the f*ck up, don't you agree? Although I'm sure the WBA is happy there are still idiots like you that think having two, or even three "legit" champions with the same ABC belt is all fine and dandy :nut

Regular WBA title is nothing more than a number 1 contendeship, to challenge real WBA champion someday

I think it's going to be either Helenius or Boytsov if his brittle right hand holds up.
And it probably will be the vacant WBC title when Vitali calls it a career.

I hope the WBC will do the right thing in that case and lets Wlad fight their #1 for it when the time comes, but I can't see it happening.

it's nothing new for the WBA to have two champions in a division, in fact it seems absolutely de rigeur these days! To take it even further, Brian Magee just won the interim title down at SMW, the vacant title will be contested shortly (i can't even recall their names) and Andre Ward is the Super Champion!! So there will be three SMW champions. I think this was replicated at one of the lower weights a while back too when Bernard Dunne held one of the belts, and when Chagaev was Champion in Recess they may well have had three HW champs!

It's all about the filthy lucre, my friend...

It doesn't matter, whoever wins that belt will be beaten by Wlad easily, it's just a matter of time.
