Sergio speaks about how he can make 154 to fight floyd or Pacquiao.

I would be interested to see him at 154 against alvarez.

What do you think about that match up?

Alvarez is too busy fighting welterweights at the moment. Seriously come one Saul, before you were "champ" I was a fan but you havent picked up the pace.

Fight somebody like Lara or Cotto!

no way in hell they put alvarez in there w/ martinez right now. the kid is very young and green and pulls in big numbers fighting the guys he's been in there with who are not anywhere near martinez's league. given how young alvarez is and given martinez's age and what he has said about his future i doubt this fight gets made.

i'll admit that because of the $ that would be involved martinez would probably jump at the opportunity but alvarez's people won't put him in there right now and rightfully so.

Alvarez will not be ready for another 2 years.

Kid just turned 21 people. Chill out. Sergio is the p4p number 2 at the moment along with being a little bigger than Canelo.

In 2 years if Martinez is in top shape which i doubt this fight would be huge.

Martinez knocks Alvarez out. The kid is still too green for a step up in class like that.
