I believe they did, but only because of his size and use of the jab that is identical to their own styles. Had they loss to Valve, it would have been measured as +20 on the 1 to 10 embarrassment scale.

I believe that Vitali would beat him, but that both fighters would have taken much punishment. It probably would have looked like Gatti-Ward except with two TALL goofy boxers.

Well, you are most assuredly wrong. Valuev is just a big guy. He's not athletic, is uncoordinated and his technique and movement are both sorely lacking. Both brothers are lightyears ahead of him and would beat him easily if it came to that.

If by ducking you mean offering Valuev a career high purse, which King turned down, then yes.

Get real. Vitali and Wladimir would both lay a massive beating on Valuev. Especially Wladimir, and it would have been nice to see if Valuev's massive skull could of held up to that type of punishment but King was too scared of Valuev losing.

Vlad did vitali didn't and telling someone to F**k off for simply asking a question is just out of order and a signal of the proliferating demise of this website (go on... u can say it to me now if it makes u feel tough)...

Vlads style is 100% based around his height advantage as is the vast majority of stewards fighters.... when they meet somebody same size or taller they got a problem eg Lewis-Vitali!!

Valve and Vlad versus Haye fights looked almost identical to me.
Fact is, the Klits refused to face him and dispatch him as easily as their fans CLAIM they would.
Fact is, they both lose their main advantage, which is height. They both would be reduced to jabbing with a jabber since both the Klits and Valve use the jab primarily.
I see the Klits and Valve having equal skill levels, coordination, and technique, with the exception that the Klits have had the advantage of having the better trainer.
I see everything else as equal. :yep

While Steward trains his fighters to use their advantages to the full that doesn't mean it's all they can do. Wladimir has fought and beat plenty of guys with better reach than himself.
