Mayweather is more diverse.

Manny is one dimensional on the front foot. No jab to work his way across the distance and create his own openings, and an inability to cut the ring off effectively.

 

$may landed at a 14% higher % vs a ssm that was imho a 60+% better verison then the ssm pac fought and in the process showed amazing (VERSITILITY in doing so unlike pac who was lost with out a map once mosley started moving and stoped engaging props to pac for hurting ssm and causing him to change his game plan and just stay in the fight but if he had n e (VERSITILITY) he would have found a way to get a ssm who was looking for a way out out of there.

SO TO ME JUST THE ABOVE FACTS ALONE PROVE WHO IS THE MORE VERSITIL FIGHTER

and we say Manny doesn't know how tot cut off the ring no because of how Mosley ran, but how Manny didn't try to use much lateral movement or step side to side. He just followed Mosley around the ring.

To be fair to him, I did notice he tried to use the jab a bit more against Mosley.

Faking the jab then banging the left in, or purposefully falling short with the jab, to bang the left hand in, is not utilsing the jab, working your way across the distance.

Cutting the ring off, is a gradual thing, its not about chasing someone as fast as you can to beat them to the spot, which is probably why Manny isn't that effective at it.

Jean Pascal constantly moved against Hopkins in their first fight, yet he couldn't find a way out, as Hopkins was so good at cutting his exits off, that he had no where to run.
