Mayweather can fight aggressively, potshot, box/punch, fight coming forward.

I think he is much more diverse than Manny, who has a coming forward dimension and an in/out bouncing type mid range game and whose long range game is leaping in with left hands and right hooks.

Manny's advantages are more physical. Fast hard punching, fast feet, better chin.

And before you come and say Floyd cut the ring off on Mosley better because he wasn't moving much. Let me show you this fight

Camacho was running way more than Mosley, but Chavez still had him where he wanted him

This thread has nothing to do with Whitaker. Why don't you get off his black sack already and go quote more philosophers to make yourself seem smart?:yep

 Homie....I'm glad you are giving it a good try in understanding something that is far beyond your comprehension level.....but I think you'd have more success understanding advanced calculus than the sweet science. Don't beat yourself up..... This sport isn't elementary.:rofl

:rofl Get real kid.....you know PAC's early losses came at a time when he was very raw. Nard lost his pro debut...yet almost 20 yrs later he's a P4P top fighter. Go figure.....it's not about how you start...it's all about how you finish. Or at least what you do during your prime or during the twilight of your career. Plus ALL the greats have lost...and some of the greats lost to guys that were considered "nobodies". Typically that came at the begining or towards the end of their careers.

I disagee with you, so I guess there goes my credibility and I dont know **** about boxing I suppose...
However Floyd can only do things one way, and that is from a boxing stand point you will never see Floyd bang it out he will always look to slow the pace down and fight at a distance never will he fight at a high pace and make it a dog fight.

Manny can and will and he prefers to, But Manny can also box and counter punch... meaning the only difference between the two is that Manny has the ability to get inside make it a high paced fight and make it a dog fight if need be.... Floyd will never have that element becuase he doesnt beleive in himself enough to do it in the ring.

Floyd's more versatile in his distancing though and his different guards and approaches to fights

The problem with this thread is your comparing apples an oranges. Floyd and Pacquiao are absolutely nothing alike. Each of them do things the other guy can't do . Floyd can't fight a Pacquaio - type fight, and vice versa. They are both unique , and though I'd say Floyd is the more versatile fighter overall, it's not by a lot and he gets completely overrated in this area.

You're right, my bad. Pacquiao has the better offensive versatility, and Floyd by a smidgeon over Pacquiaohas......Nah, I can't even give Floyd that. Pacquiao is more versatile than Floyd defensively too:good

i think your the ignorant one man..look at what the poll shows..

Look at what most writers and enthusiasts say man.

I am not lying when I say I go to a boxing gym 4-6 days a week...trust EVERY trainer in my gym believes Floyd is more versatile and you will find this at MOST GYMS..

SO I guess were all ignorant and your the non ignorant one right?:hat:think

Word up. Wait, if Floyd gets completely overrated in that area, and Floyd is more versatile overall, then what does that say about Pacquiao?:huh
