i know i have bashed the great cuban porker for fighting this guy
and the responses have been much like this

"i guess iceman is disappointed hes not fighting wlad and vitali in the same night"

    not really

i just think fighting a guy who was 174 pounds 5 months ago...its BEYOND PATHETIC! even for a comeback fat (i mean fight).

in 4 years u have plenty of time for recovery, dont u think? we r talking only 6 months after knee surgery.
i dont take anything away from Vitali,i recognize he beat Solis and recognize him as a legit champ.

keep defending your cuban lover...which is more pathetic than his opponent...maybe if you said you were a little dissapointed in this choice, you would have some credit other than a pure fan boy of the cuban nation.....:-(

  8. Sorry Cuban kid, this sorry ass fight is un****ingdefendable

Arreola fought Minto after being beaten to a crying mess by Vitali, Gomez fought Mazikin and Peter fought Chambers...

    U dont understand.
I dont think he should be fighting in october at all, not against Vitali, not against Wlad, not against Haye..not against the Pope...the fact that he is fighting too soon is scary. The bum he is fighting will be just a test to see how his knee holds, that's it.No expectations at all.If he moves well around the ring and no more knee troubles, then im sure he will go for a big fight.I would lve to see him against the winner of povetkin vs chagaev.

all in all, im glad hes back....but if youre gonna take that chance to get in the ring...youre knee can go out against a top 50 guy or a complete bum like this guy....whats the point if he kos him in 30 seconds?

Solis is gonna get blown out by this guy. He is obviously past prime now. Time to move on.

I really don't get the hate for this. Chef said himself it could be 2 years before Solis is ready to fight at the top level again. What do you want him to do? Go straight in with Wlad this October?
