Any early news from the weigh in and more significantly what weight Kenny and Connie weighed in at?Did Darren ONeill weigh in?Also does anyone know when the youth box offs arre taking place?

 

Just did my bet there on Boyle Sports. Coveney is now 7/2.

So I did a treble, Coveney win 7/2, Sweeney win by KO, TKO or DIS 2/1 and Hyland win 1/5. £20 stake pays £324.

 

I didnt know that. I prefer an early start anyway, at least all of the under card fighters can get their fights done and dusted, and cut down on the potential for swing bouts occuring after the main event....

 

Any of the Dudey Army this dedicated? Maybe BamBam would 'Brick Fist Mafia' or I could get 'O'Brien Bandwagon'

Was at the weigh in- Ward is injured- kenny came in at 86 so is moving to heavy

And Con sheehan came in at 91+ :yikes That could work out perfectly if both egan and sheehan won. I mean, lets face it, mcmonigle doesn't seem to do too well in international tournaments. I hope it works out for con sheehan tho! I think he's brilliant but it be a shame if the power of the superheavys is too much for him. I'm assuming it wouldn't be, seeing as he made the move. He must take care of mcmonigle handy enugh in sparring :think

Surely these lads cant be just left at home from the world championships?

Egan is making a mistake moving up ,at International level he is just not big enough, he will be much quicker and probably cleverer than most but only 6 qualify from the world....Thats assuming he beats Mc Carthy which is in no way assured.Also Jimy Sweeny had been unlucky not to beat Connie on a few occasions so he may have a say yet.
Joyce v Gallagher will be good tonight and on the draw Brabazone looks to have the easier side through to the final so he may get what he deserves by the end of the week.
Good draw for young Phillip he should make the final without much fuss over Upton.

id say we are missing a quater at 60k,I imagine DO Joyce is in that and a semi final contestant at super heavy Id say that is turner he was definetly weighing in he said.
Anyone know who got the bye to the 81kilo final???
