There were talks of him moving up in weight, unlike Pimp C I was actually following the sport at that time as I has since I was a kid, Chico said even on the broadcast he was having a hard time making weight... considered moving up but stayed there to fight Floyd.

No, but he pleaded no contest TWICE to battery against women, and has a third still open. :patsch

Look, you obviously got hurt feelings over this. It's not ONE THING, it's the whole.

So was I. I was actually a bigger fan of Floyd back when this fight happened, and hoped he gave Chico a whupping. :deal

Again, implying you know who people are, and in this case, what they feel. Sorry, you don't have any power over me to affect my emotions.

Like I said earlier: what gives you the right to judge other people? You've never met the man in your entire life and nothing he has done has affected your life, yet you dislike him because he doesn't live by your same "moral code." Sorry, I find that both sad and pathetic.

In other words: Who gives a **** about what Floyd is like outside of the ring? Apparently, you do. I only care what he does INSIDE the ring. He is an athlete, not a role model.

You know the sport but leave out the fact that Chico fought at 130 several more times and won a title there as well. That doesn't sound like a guy who was drained and couldn't fight at 130 anymore.

Who cares if he couldnt make the weight he shouldn't have taken the fight. That's not floyds fault he destroyed a prime Chico Corrales. He wasn't drained anyway he fought at super feather for years after.

Dude, no one is saying it's ANYONE'S fault. No one is assigning blame to Floyd. But it is what it is.

And yes, he was weight drained for that fight. That is actually documented. Not to mention, talked about publicly.

Just because he was able to better maintain his diet afterwards does NOT mean he wasn't drained for that particular fight.

If it'll make you happy, no one is saying that weigh draining was WHY floyd won. No need to get so defensive. Floyd beats Chico at anyweight. Even I know that.

Personally I think he devastated Gatti worse than corrales.

He was vicious on poor Gatti.

End of the day the guy is extra extra special he can fight any which way he wants. If he wants to give you a pasting and really lay a beating on he can do it. Or if he wants to box you to embarrassment gracefully over 12 shutout rounds of textbook technical chessboxing he will do that also.

There's nothing he can't really do

True that from a rankings standpoint, the Corrales win is more significant but I'm speaking solely of the performance. I'm not sure Floyd made a single mistake against Gatti. He just beat the **** out of the guy.

:patsch Get over it already. Sounds like an angry girlfriend.. And no, you don't only care about what he does in the ring, you liar. You love his bling lifestyle. You're just hurt over someone saying he acts like an ass and probably is one.

Floyd's not a big puncher, but his offense is brutally sharp and quick. I can see why so many fighters are reluctant to let their hands go. He picks up on small mistakes and openings with single counters so well.
