Sorry but at the very least, you would have to include Sanders, Hide, Peter, and Briggs in there along with Lewis as huge punchers. Then you still have hard punchers like Arreola, Kirk Johnson, Danny Williams, Ed Mahone(you may not be familiar with him, not a top level guy but he hits like a mule), ect... Vitali fought plenty of guys who could punch. Those other guys weren't on Lewis' skill level, but certainly can bang.
He could take Lennox Lewis,Chris Byrd and Samuel Peter's punches. He has a good chin. 7.5 i give him.
Byrd's name being a joke right? As an opponent sure , but for power absolutely not. Even as a Klitschko fan I'm not that delusional
One of the best. I'd say its up there McCall's...And I don't buy that its nevr been tested. You don't get in a ring with Lennox and not get your chin tested.
10 that uppercut from Lewis would ko almost anyone, he just walked through it! Iron chinned warrior he is
Sanders, hide, peter and briggs are not on lewis's level of power. Sanders could be classed as a very hard puncher by nature of his wlad victory. Briggs power is a total myth. Peter is a decent puncher but nothing special. P4p hide has amazing power, but as a hw it isn't as fierce.
Proven steel :yep. Vitali reaching 40 and still being a champion close to his prime is a milestone for the heavyweight division. All the more surprising considering the injury problems he was having when he retired.
I'd have to agree. :good I def give Vitali a 10, but McCall had an amazing chin and def would be at the very top of this scale as well for a heavyweight.
