The HW division: What has changed?

shortage?? there are more american HWs than european combined. You stil have the most boxers, in every weight division from LWW to HW. there is no shortage of USA boxers.

NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, wrestling, whatever and prison were always there. AND there were more black people.

boxing has gotten bigger, stronger and more technical. it's not enough to be a big puncher and talker anymore...

the fact that america HWs, or any other weights for that matter dont dominate, is not americas fault;

the world just cought up in boxing culture, same thing happened with the NHL


the same will happen to the NBA, MLB, NFL if it goes international.

 

What has changed is the eastern european boxers now being allowed to turn pro. The HW division is going to be dominated by them for quite a while, just look at the prospects coming up.

It's a more physically demanding game tbh than the above.

You're not even aloud to wear helmets or body armor thus is a harder and tougher sport than silly American football.

political? . In US, UK or on the moon , anywhere you go blacks remain among the poorest, least educated and most dependent on government social programs of all ethnic groups.

 

That's a real murderers row of American heavyweights! Obviously the talent is as good as ever, it's just that those Eastern Europeans are so much better.

Boxing requires discipline & dedication. Maybe the American fighters are more dedicated to gang banging rather than the gentleman's sport of boxing. Ever think of that?

Just like any other sport, just because you excel at one craft doesn't make you excel at another. Getting punched in the face for a living is not the same as shooting hoops or running the perfect route for a touchdown.

You know there is a crisis in American heavyweight boxing when are best hopefuls (Mitchell and Wilder) are rejects from basketball and football. Why are there no good men coming out of the amateurs? Big men being directed into other sports at a higher rate then generations past? Wait, that would be an "excuse" so that can't be the reason when trying to figure out what has happened.
