9 and I only say that due to it being relatively untested. He could very well have a 10/10 mandible on him.

if you dwarf your opponents...and you never get hit solid by anyone that is known for knocking guys out....his chin is unknown .....an old fat lewis wobled him .....his chin is obviously somewhat good.....but who the **** has chin checked him? i will wait for the list of giant punchers who has hit him

s the guy tough? YES. was he tyson bests sparring partner ever? YES
did he fight tyson in a real match? NO
not sure if because its cliche to say mccall has a monster chin or whatever....but take a good look at his record...he has fought over 65 times and you might see 6 or 8 guys you will recognize. all im saying is, if you somehow manage to not fight ANY of the guys below , then youre damn chin apparently hasnt been checked...for all time greatness....

    BOWE?
    Mike Tyson (real fight)?
    Mercer?
    Morrison?
    Holyfield?
    Moorer?
    Witherspoon?
    Foreman?
    Ruddock?
    either Klitscho?
    Tua?
    Shannon Briggs?
    Alex Stewart?
    Bert Cooper?
    Rahman?

a great chin is someone who fights great punchers and dont go down....ever heard of marion wilson?

Mcall fought hitters bruno and lewis...but his chin is made of cast iron and steel...
    hahaha

You guys do know Vitali has been KNOCKED OUT COLD twice? Before he was a pro boxer he was a kickboxer, he suffered 2 loses KO.

Now Vitali has a pretty good chin so far I'd give it a 7-8 witch is very good. But its not Chuvalo Level.

Anyone who takes this shot and isn't on the canvas gets a 10 in my book.

Could someone give me a fight where McCall took huge shot after huge shot and never went down? I have to see this chin in action.

Once. He has one recorded loss as a kick-boxer and that was by a knock out.

  9. by a kick in the face.

Aside from the obvious, Vitaly got clocked hard by briggs in the 11th and did not flinch. That is it, he does occasionally get cracked hard and does not flinch. LL and Sanders being the exceptions. Aside from the Briggs right hand in the 11th, Vitaly has been hit with huge shots by Hide and most recently Solis and did not flinch. Peter hit him hard and got no reaction, why do you think he quit?

If Vitaly was on crack like McCall his chin would have been even better than Oliver's.

    8-10

Among the best heavyweight chins of all time. Ranks close to McCall, Foreman, Chuvalo, etc.

You are really overrating Lewis' power. His knockout ratio isn't anything to write home about. I don't know why on earth Lewis became this absolutely monsterous puncher after he retired... he certain was not. He was a very hard puncher... but people seem to point to that great knockout of Rahman and think that somehow that is how his punches always impacted... and that it was the norm. It certainly wasn't. It was actually very out of the ordinary for him to finish someone like that. Normally it would be a decision, or a sustained beating/multiple knockdowns resulting in a stoppage. He didn't normally spark people right out.
