So all you want to do is insult Floyd by saying he always needs a name right? So does Pacquiao. Pacquiao did the same thing Floyd did only he did it at 126 and 130. Guzman, valero, and others were left out. Anything Pacquiao does ppv wise, Floyd does a lil bit better. Fact. Floyd and Pacquiao used the Mexican fan base to make money:dead

SO what exactly are you trying to say moron? You start off this thread by saying Floyd is piggy backing Mexican fighters, when his biggest total next to Oscar was against Mosley.

    Please explain this dumbass thread.

If after the Hatton fight, around a mil.

Floyd knows how to sell fights and has always made sure to make matches with guys coming off impressive wins in recent years. When you're the villain like Floyd is the more people believe your opponent can beat you, the more PPV buys you'll get. This is why everyone he fights has their stock rising at the time of the fight.

Oscar - blasted Mayorga out like nothing
Hatton - undefeated coming off a vicious bodyshot KO win
Marquez - just beat a young guy in an epic war
    Mosley - soul raped margaritoe
Ortiz - took away Bertoe's 0 in a fight of the year candidate

    Angry much? lol

Lets say Berto beat Ortiz and instead of fighting Ortiz on Sept 17th he was fighting Berto. Do you see Floyd doing similar or more #'s? It would have been Floyd fighting an undefeated young fighter with no real following. Do you still think Floyd does around 1mil buys?

Floyd can easily get 1 million buys with Berto.
Battle of the undefeateds all over again against a guy with power and speed.

He doesn't have that big of a fan base, but it'll attract more casuals fans to come watch. Then people would look at the fight and say "look, Floyd is fighting a young undefeated fast guy with power and Manny is fighting another 38 year old"

If Berto knocked Ortiz down a bunch of times, rallied and took his manhood like Ortiz took Berto it would do the same numbers probably better.

Not only is Berto undefeated American, but he didnt have the whole ***** wrap Ortiz did.

So yeah Berto would do just as good if not better then Ortiz. Just like Mosley coming off a destruction of Margarito did better numbers then Mayweather did against Mexican Marquez, even though Mosley has never been able to sell a pay per view on his own and was on HBO most of his career.

So yeah you should stop making threads. You are dumb as ****.

I dont see it. If he couldnt get 1mil buys against Hatton who believe it or not had a pretty big USA following at the time, I dont see him doing it against Berto. 500-700k sounds more like it. At the time, Hatton was more popular in the US than Berto was prior to losing to Ortiz.

The original plan was to actually fight Bertoe, that's why Floyd was in the audience, so he must have had confidence that he could sell a fight wit hBertoe.

So you're saying Pacquiao/Berto does 3 million ppvs because Pacquiao/Clottey was a work of magic by Pacquiao:nut

The dumb fuk here is you trying to compare what Floyd would have done against Berto by using Mosley as an example! :-( Mosley has never been able to sell a ppv on his own, but he fought Oscar 2x on ppv while Oscar was in his prime! When has Berto even been on ppv? Mosley was lightyears ahead of Berto as far as exposure in the sport and popularity amongst casual fans.

Even dumber is suggesting that a fight with Berto on Sept 17th would outsell a fight with a Mexican who's coming off a big exciting win on Mexican Independence day! Go slap yourself.

    Stop posting please!

Umm we are all American and we can all tell you that Hatton did NOT have a big following in the USA.

People knew who he was, or people who ran across British sports fans may have knew who he was, but the casual American public did not know who Hatton was.

Also moron, the case is if Berto beat Ortiz the way he got beat by Berto, meaning in exciting fashion, ala Berto would be a very popular undefeated fighter right now.

:patsch Seriously just stop. You're ******ed.
