margarito couldn't use his size on pac, how the **** can mayweather use his size against pac.:patsch

Mayweather gonna use his size to help his defence? :nut

The only thing mayweather would use is his skill, that's it.

Margarito and Floyd have completely different styles. As a defensive fighter you can use your size and strength to keep your opponent off balance and prevent him from getting inside or to tie him up when he gets in range to make damage.

A quick jab against a smaller fighter might stop him in his tracks whereas that same punch against a bigger stronger fighter might not.

Not just for Pacquiao / Maywaether the same thing applies to everyone. A good example I can think of is Arce vs Mijares.

A quick jab is skill not size.

so what he has fought fighters bigger than Floyd and won handidly...size shouldnt matter as it isnt a gigantic size disparity.

Yeah you could if the boxer you're facing is a **** boxer. If a boxer can't control his balance based on his opponents size that doesn't show much versatility does it Philla? :yep

you missed the point. That same jab landing on a bigger opponent might not be enough to keep him off, but it might be enough to stop a smaller opponent in his tracks. That's where size comes in.

Like I said I expect Pacquiao to win despite the disadvantage. And it's not like he's facing just anyone, I've always said that Mayweather is a great boxer.

And what you said kind of indicates you have a low opinion of Floyd. You think he can only use his size to keep his opponent off balance if he's facing a **** boxer?

I just find it ironic, that pac has beaten bigger men than floyd, more aggressive men than floyd, yet it's floyd size that would win him the fight against pac. This **** is just ******ed.

Like I said is it an excuse that Pacquiao is smaller or a fact? Pac comes in at 148lbs on fight night. It's not some bull**** I'm making up.

Pac has beaten bigger men than Floyd but they were not as good as Floyd. Floyd is better than the Clottey's and Margarito's of this world

I hear exactly what you are saying, you are basically saying pac isn't good enough to escape floyd's jab, which he rarely uses in fights.

Against MArquez, who like Pacquiao is a smaller fighter than FLoyd, Mayweather threw 316 jabs and only 177 power punches.

Yet you think Floyd rarely uses the jab.

It seems like Floyd would agree with me, not with you.

and I'm not saying Pac is not good enough to escape Floyd's jab. Like I said I expect Pac to win anyways. I'm just saying he has to beat both Floyd and the size. Which once again I expect him to be able to do it successfully.

The only reason I brought this up is to explain to sds why I think it's a close fight. Even if I'm a fan of PAcquiao I still predict results with my head not my heart.

the fact that he is smaller is irrelavant because he has shown he can bagn with even bigger guys than Floyd!

PLUS you feel Pac is more skilled and versatile than Floyd.....therefore size should not matter....yet you have to sling it out there as if it means something in this fight.

Anyways have we ever seen floyd impose his size on anyone?

Margarito quite clearly used his size against Pacquiao. The simple fact that Margarito was much, much bigger than Pacquiao, and continued to walk him down...in turn making Pacquiao throw punches is an indication of this. He was making Pacquiao work, at the same time catching him with punches...he wasn't catching him with an amazing amount of punches, but they were heavier punches.

Pacquiao was working hard, that was clear to see. Margarito's size being the factor.
