It would be huge, like when Roy Jones Jr. was knocked out by Tarver.

It would also make mayweather clear victory over marquez that more meaningful at WW.

But nah not one of the greatest victories of all time as Marquez arguably beat pac twice before depending on how you scored the previous two fights.

A Marquez victory for obvious reasons can only come by KO.........it would be EPIC!

Definitely up there. Pacquiao didn't look great in his last bout (compared to his high standards), but that can be put down to his opponent, and the fact that it was clear he 'couldn't get up for that bout'.

Very much a huge upset. Whether Marquez gave Pacquiao two close fights, and arguably won at least one or not...those bouts were years and weight classes ago. Pacquiao has been able to carry the weight a lot, lot more successfully, and has improved technically along the way. Marquez's limit was 135lbs, and he has shown he is capable of competing at that weight...but that is very much his cap in terms of weight. There is a reason Marquez hasn't fought at 140lbs, and the only reason he has taken the huge risks of fighting above 135lbs is because of the huge risk/huge reward bouts against Mayweather and Pacquiao.

He wont be drained, hes at his comfortable weight. If anything marquez will be feeling it. Seriously though, people can say what they want...I dont really think JMM has much of a chance (styles do make fights though). After watching the HORRIBLE dive his opponent took in his last fight with JMM, pac is going to push his **** in.

IMO, it depends on how he wins. If its a close shitty split decision again then no.

Even in this scenario (assuming there is no real controversy about the result)...it would be a great victory for Marquez, still very much unexpected of him to push Pacquiao all the way, nevermind win.
