    i agree that clev us better than bellew in most departments. look at handspeed, footwork, combination punching and he is light years ahead. the problem is, he gets hit a bit too much for bellew imo. there is no doubt he is the better boxer though and no matter what bellew says, i genuinely think he underestimates clev. clev is a tough lad, heart of a warrior, throws hard shots and he knows how to put them together. if clev had a serious chin, this would be an easy fight for him. if he can take bellews power, the fight wont last long. i just dont have much faith in his chin, especially after last time

    I think Cleverly outworks Bellew for a UD or late stoppage but Cleverly does get hit so he could go iF Bellew connects a lot either way i think it's an exciting fight

    Boxing is all about levels and Cleverly is way above Bellew at this piont in time. Cleverly by tko in the 6th.

  5. Boxing is about brain, hand speed, footwork, chin, power, ‘skills’ and nothing else.

    What you call levels is you lumping brain and footwork together and even then Cleverly is clever but Bellew is a genius.

    Brain = Tszyu/Judah

    Hand Speed = Amir Khan

    Footwork = Frankie Gavin

    Chin = Hopkins

    Power = Hamed

    Skills = Your weak side

    Cleverly’s philosophy is the left uppercut ffs.

    Your bluffing.

    I've read through this thread and your posts - you clearly are against Bellew and think that Clev is light years ahead of him.

    You will have £0 on a Bellew win.

    And will watch the fight with glee - expecting Clev to totally outclass him in a one sided fight.

    Cleverly wins this easy, very easy. Bellew will do a good job selling this fight if its on PPV but he just aint up to it, like Haye did against Klitschko. He is not fast enough, not powerful enough and simply not good enough. Anyone who has actually seen them fight can tell you Cleverly is getting better and better all the time whereas Bellew has found his level or has nearly found his level which is miles away from Cleverly. Simply nowhere near good enough.

    What ever your opinions are on either fighter you're being ridiculous to say Cleverley is getting better and better all the time. Clev's getting worse IMO and is started to really more and more on getting into a tear up. His defence is actually getting worse IMO

    If it wasn't for Bomber struggling with the weight I think this would be on the backburner for at least a year.

    Cleverly has one really solid win over Murat, but he was hit way too much throughout the fight..... he's got that Calzaghe type instinct just to fire back, without being able to adjust his feet to catch the end of the shots.... and we don't know how good his chin is yet.

    McIntosh is probably the biggest hitter he's faced in terms of single shots, but he's a circus clown who looks decent when in the mood and **** the rest of the time.

    Neither of them are the finished article yet, Cleverly is by far the more proven of the two and should rightly start as favourite, something I think Tony acknowledges.

    I think when Bellew fights in a calm manner he's deceptively hard to hit and has really good footwork, superior to Clev's by a fair way.

    In terms of betting I'll probably leave this alone.

    Thanks for that Dan, but thats BS. Cleverly is fighting better and better opposition so it stands to reason he is going to get hit more often. Clev is better in every single department, it is so obvious to see. Bellew biggest weapon is power and that aint all that.

    Aye mate. Mohammedi and Kuzienski......:huh Top notch opposition.:goodCertainly a step up from Murat, clearly better and better each time.:patsch

    Those both caught him and Murat caught him all day. Murat is not a one punch artist..... strong but not destructive. If Bellew catches him half as much as Murat did then Cleverly is going to have serious questions asked of his chin.

    OK fine, but where is the evidence that bellew punches harder that Murat. Bellew power is average at best.He is not dynamite fisted and nowhere near it
