He cheated the first time... Won second hands down but one got sttronger and one a little older.

Wilfredo Rivera- Pernell Whittaker. Rivera officially lost these bouts.. But IMO won the 1st and was very competetive in the second one.... ALthough a little faded Whittaker was still a great fighter .. I never understood how the Awkward slow and not particularly hard punching Rivera could give WHittaker so much trouble.:think

Frankie Randall vs Julio Cesar Chavez-- Chavez was past his prime but still a damn good fighter.... IMO Randall was on hhis way to beating him the second time (until the bogus call).... Not saying Randall would beat a Prime Chavez,,but i wouldnt be suprised.. Hed at least give even a prime JC all he wanted.,

Chiquita Gonzalez vs Michael Carbajal- Carbajal kod him the first time in a back and forth classic... But he fell in love with his power after that... And Chiquita changed it around and Outboxed and frustrated the tALLER cARBAJAL IN THE NEXT 2 FIGHTS.... i RATE cARBAJAL AS THE SLIGHTLY GREATER FIGHER BUT cHIQUITA PROVED BETTER(hth) IN THE LAST 2 FIGHTS

jUNIOR jONES VS Marco Barrera -- Couldnt believe the chinny JUnior Jones went 24 rounds with Barrera without being stopped... I remember being shocked when Jones did it the first time as he was considered past it and kod by unheralded PInckney and JOhn JOhnson..... Barrera was a beast at the time.... Thought Jones got luckey.... ALthough i thought the 2nd fight could have gone either way,,, I gave Jones big props for knowing how to beat the greater Barrera 2x.

RIcardo Mayorga vs Vernon Forrest seeing how Mayorgas career turned out,. WHo would have thought the wild and crude Mayorga would beat SUper boxer and well respected Vernon Forrest?

Montell Griffith- James Toney even though Toney wasnt all that great at LH ... He was still capable of fighting at an elite level... Griffith only had 13 fights when he upset Toney by very close decision... People made excuses for Toney, but Griffith came back and beat him decisively in the rematch... Griffith was an underrated fighter and excellent boxer in his prime... Credit Eddie Futch too.

Whitaker simply wasn't as good at this stage as he had been in the past. It was quite clear, too. The Whitaker who took apart McGirt and Chavez would've had a field day with Rivera.

Certainly disagree with this.. First fight has too much controversy (he was past it and out of his weightclass anyways) and in the second fight he was way old.

Sugar Ray Robinson > Jake LaMotta
    Ezzard Charles > Archie Moore
    Archie Moore > Harold Johnson
    Ken Norton > Muhammad Ali
    George Foreman > Joe Frazier
    Evander Holyfield > Mike Tyson
Oscar de la Hoya > Julio Cesar Chavez

I personally don't think Marquez had Pacquiao's number. Both were very close fights that could have gone either way.

I disagree, but i can see your point Red :good

Tyson always had Brunos number. He outbox Lennox all he wanted but everytime he stepped in with Tyson he was gonna get his a$$ handed to him.

I dont agree with Holyfield over Tyson. Beating a guy who just spent 4 years in prison and boxed about 8 rounds isnt really having his number.

    Bowe always had Holyfields number
