Dont be getting optimistic about the PPV being dead.

Once a real mega fight / mega card is made like Pac V Mayweather or Khan V Mayweather. Or if david Haye were to somehow make an explosive return

Thanks for your insightless input. Why not just put this in the other thread?

HBO have just sanctioned stronger undercard requirements for their PPV events.

Fighters don't dictate who and what goes on PPV.

If Haye wants to fight on he might have to go on regular Sky. His stock is lower than ever at the minute, after two **** fights in a row who'll pay?

If Froch beats Ward then they might come back.

I can't think of any realistic opponent for Froch that would be PPV in the UK.

I dunno, Calzaghe was never in a PPV fight while he was active and I'm not sure if he'd be regarded as a "realistic" opponent, he's not showing any signs of getting itchy feet in retirement.

A Froch fight in the UK at 2300 against Cleverly is a dead cert for PPV.
