James Kirkland Vs Nobuhiro Ishida. Ishida's not even iron chined, but he's never been KOed. Dropped Kirkland 3 times to win only his 8th KO.

Feather-fisted/ Iron-jawed guy by KO. The guy with the raw power will pound away but his raw power does nothing against the iron chin. Eventually, Raw Power guy gets a bit tired of launching bombs. This glass-jawed fighter is now not only glass-jawed, but he'd glass-jawed AND tired. Feather-fisted guy begins to unleash feather fisted flurries and stops the guy with the glass-jaw.

Iron chin wins because he'll last all 12 rounds and, if active, he can win on points by outworking his opponent. The raw power glass jaw guy look to power shot his way to victory thus leading to possible mistakes.

A iron chin beats raw power in a slug fest. Tex Cobb vs Ernie Shavers is a good exsample.

I thought of Cotto-Malginalli at 140. Close fight that one was.
