No he wont. Lemieux will never be elite. He has a shaky chin. Im not saying that just because he got stopped. Rubio landed a right hand i believe it was or could have been a left hook in the 30 second mark of the first round. It was not that hard of a shot and it wobbled Lemieux. I remember saying this kid is gonna get stopped if this goes longer than 5.

He appears to have a weak punch resistance. He has heart i will give him that but he doesnt have an elite chin. As long as his management keeps him away from punchers he will pick up a title since he has skills but that chin will prevent him from being truly elite.

As far as a match up between he and JCC Jr. i think its a toss up. If JCC Jr. can take his power which im thinking its 50-50 then i see him grinding him down similar to Rubio.
Canelo mops the floor with this kid. Catches him with a nice counter and puts him to sleep.

Dude i have never said anything about being undefeated. If anyting i think that is a weakness for a prospect. They start worrying about the 0 too much.

Im a firm believer in what Dundee said. If you are undefeated you havent faced anyone.

JCC Jr. is an average fighter who was lucky to get the win vs. Zbik he will keep his title as long as he gets matched carefully. He has some good attributes which are chin heart and stamina.

Canelo is special as they come and i dont care about when he loses. All great fighters lose.

I have to respectfully disagree about the chin.
At least, I'm not convince right now (Rubio IS NOT feather fisted).
    We'll see.

I think he holds his own against both Canelo and Chavez.
ANd I think he'll beat Rubio in a rematch.

    No you didn't.

You just mocked him as an exposed hypejob because of that lost.
It seems you had some frustration because David was talking big in saying he was ready for the likes of Canelo or JCC...

The kid ate a good portion of humble pie.
Now it'S either he'll learn a lot from this or go into total oblivion.

I think he'll come back better than he was.

Maybe. Rubio laid a blueprint to beat him, and if anyone can make Jr. follow that blueprint, it's Freddie Roach.

Lemieux gas himself , it's not like Rubio was winning every rounds !

I would pick JCC Jr to beat Lemieux. He would bang away to the body and stop Lemieux late.

Eh, maybe, but I don't think he just gassed himself. Rubio did it to him. I've seen Lemieux go longer than that without gassing. Even without the stoppage, Rubio was winning by the time the stoppage happened.

Lemieux is fun to watch, decent boxing, but his power is pretty good. He was abit big headed tho and cocky looking past Rubio like that and even tho I did think Rubio would push him, never did I think hed expose Lemieux like that! Hope they have a rematch soon or Kirkland goes up and fights him at 160. A great 4 round fight that would be.

Damn you didn't see the same fight then me!

Lemieux biggest problem is that he doesn't pace himself and always go for the kill with each punches.

I would gladly take you up on that bet.:good JCC Jr is relentless with his pressure and body attack. He would wear Lemieux down.

I think Lemieux punching power will be too much for Jr and Jr defense isn't the best (Same for Lemieux). Lemieux love boxer who come forward and Jr fit the bill.

I also think JCC Jr would beat Lemieux but I'm just saying that it doesn't take a p4p great to beat JCC Jr either.
